How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? (Final Cut Express,

Livetype, Youtube, Slideshare,Garageband, Adobe

Photoshop Elements, camera and equipment, etc)

I used various different media technologies to produce my music video and both of my

ancillary tasks.

Final Cut Express

I used this programme to

edit together my music

video.

I had never used final

cut express before this so

first I had to practise a little

to get the hang of it. Once I

worked out how to use I

found it quite easy and fun

to use.

Livetype

I used Livetype to

create the titles on my

music video. Livetype is

really easy to use and

doesn't take very long

to create a title that

looks professional.

Slideshare

I used slide share to upload PowerPoint presentation to my blog. This took a couple minutes to do but its not difficult to do. I used thisto upload PowerPoint's about the artists style and outfit ideas.

Adobe Photoshop Elements

I used adobe Photoshop elements to edit the pictures for both my ancillary tasks. Photoshop was thehardest out of all of the media technologies I used. The reason for this is that it took quite a lot of practise to get used to it and because it has lots of different tools.

Cameras and equipment

The different equipment I used is:• digital camera-to take pictures

for my ancillary tasks• Video camera- to film my

music video• Dolly- to move the camera

around smoothly • Tripod- to get steady shots

whilst filming• Mac computer- to edit

everything from my music video and ancillary tasks.

Blogger

I have used blogger to

upload all of the things I

did related to my

advanced portfolio

through out A2 media

Studies.
