The CF series is the ultimate all-rounder with a range of spacious and comfortable cabs. Available in two, three and

four axle configurations with single or tandem drives and powerful PACCAR engines optimised to boost fuel efficiency,

the CF delivers high performance and a touch of style. It’s the ideal truck for many applications, including general

freight, car transportation, refuse collection, concrete mixing and pumping, refrigeration and livestock cartage.

THE CF SERIES

ATTRACTIVESpecial attention has been paid to the aesthetics of the stylish yet sturdy CF design. The high-quality trim, upholstery materials and superior finish is equal to that of top class passenger cars. Corner air deflectors have been fitted as standard to diminish the effects of water spray, keeping windows, mirrors and door handles clean. Side-skirts are available for optimal aerodynamics and fuel efficiency.

VERSATILEAvailable as a rigid or prime mover, the selection of axle configurations can meet a multitude of applications. Air tanks mounted on the inside of the chassis frame allow sufficient space for the additional design of crane legs, twist locks or fuel tanks, making the CF the most versatile model in its class.

ACCESSIBLEThere are three cab selections to choose from: the Day Cab, the Sleeper Cab and the extra roomy Space Cab. All cabs have carefully positioned, non-slip, illuminated steps, wide doors and a low cab floor for easy entry and exit. The CF cabs were designed with valuable input from drivers and operators, creating a first-class vehicle that is a joy to drive.

CLEVERThere are a range of engines and gearbox PTOs / position combinations, making the CF ideal for a wide variety of applications. The CF comes with optional enhancement features including Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, DAF Camera System, and Lane Departure Warning System. Everything about the CF offers effective solutions to support good driver behaviour and help protect the transport operator.

ROBUSTThe CF series comes complete with compact external dimensions, which make for excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces. It has a large approach angle, good ground clearance, and a steel bumper that can take a knock. With high-impact resistant Lexan headlight covers and optional cat’s eye combi-lights, the proven durability of the CF meets its purpose for tough operations, ensuring minimum downtime for demanding workloads.

PREPAREDBuilt with body builders in mind, the completely flat-topped chassis frame comes equipped with a pre-drilled hole pattern and is available in a variety of configurations which ensures easy mounting of a wide range of superstructures. The robust construction of the main frame and its cross members is built with high-quality, light-weight steel, offering higher payloads. A Body Builder Module presents up-to-date, comprehensive information to facilitate installation guidelines between electrical systems in the vehicle and the body.

SPACIOUSThe CF cab is clearly designed around the driver, offering maximum space for all cab options, including the extra roomy Space Cab, which has an interior height of 175cm. Key storage facilities include three large, overhead compartments with enough space for a modern microwave. There is available space for a third seat (Day Cab only) and enough storage under the bed to mount a refrigerator, as well as the option for an additional upper bunk (Sleeper Cab and Space Cab only).

PERFECT MATCHThe CF offers a wide range of transmissions for an integrated, perfect match with PACCAR engines. Manual, automated or fully automatic; there is always a suitable gearbox for swift and smooth gearshifting actions. AS-Tronic gearboxes comes as standard, and Manual transmission are optional on all CF models. The automated gearbox helps reduce fuel consumption and keeps the cost per kilometre low. DAF technology is also available to fine-tune transmission characteristics for dedicated applications, such as heavy haulage.

COMFORTABLEThe CF series has excellent handling characteristics and ride comfort, offering one of the best environments for the driver to work, live and sleep in. The luxury, air-suspended driver seat is multi-adjustable, while the multi-functional steering wheel serves the driver with optional driving positions. Vents fitted into the door panels create warm or cool air along the side windows for optimum comfort and the superb beds make for a good night’s rest.

SOPHISTICATEDAt the heart of the CF driveline are the ultramodern, compact PACCAR engines. The 9.2 litre PR and 12.9 litre MX engines combine excellent performance with economic fuel consumption. With outputs from 183 kW/249 hp to 375 kW/510 hp, all PACCAR engines are designed to offer the highest standards of economy, reliability and durability, leading to longer service intervals and maximum vehicle efficiency.
