Enrol early! Some classes can fill up quickly and classes with insufficient numbers may be cancelled. Class fees can be paid by cash or Card in the centre, or by Card over the phone.

We have several rooms, large and small available for hire at reasona-ble rates. These include computer lab, function spaces, kitchen facilities and class rooms. Suitable for meetings, conferences and events, clas-ses, community activities and social gatherings.

Be involved in a real social enterprise start-up business, and enjoy real time learning
as we build it from the ground up.
All aspects from idea generation to development of a business case will be explored
as we create Daylesford's first Social Enterprise, (farming mushrooms on site) and
moving towards employing up to 4 people with disabilities.
Urban mushroom farming provides an ideal platform for developing sustainable, adapt-
able and engaging employment opportunities in a business that delivers a meaningful
contribution to the broader community.

Volunteers are a key part of DNC success. Every year, volunteers help support DNC in a variety of ways. They help out in the of-
fice, in the kitchen, in the garden, and in many of DNC programs and initiatives.
Volunteering at DNC is a great way to get valuable experience and a wonderful way to
contribute to making your community a better place!
Everyone’s Welcome Volunteer positions are open to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, and others
with valid Work Permits. We welcome people from all backgrounds and ages; howev-
er, please note that you must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer with DNC

Available Volunteer Positions All Abilities Group —Support Volunteer
DNC requires a support volunteer with SEWING MACHINE skills to help teach life
skills to our ‘All Abilities’ group. The role extends to help improving literacy, numeracy
and other life skills that may be identified as a need. This position is for Wednesdays
between the hours of 9am –3pm.
Carpenter DNC is embarking on a social enterprise, that when complete will employ up to 4 people with disabilities. We will be utilising the existing building footprint and covered areas to create an organic mushroom farm. We require a qualified carpenter to help enclose and insulate an existing covered area and undertake repairs to the veranda of the police quarters.
