500 miles fishing for bassLaunched in 2011, Bénéteau’s sport fishing boat very quickly dominated

among experts in fishing at sea. A winning appearance, an extremely

sea-worthy hull, and optimal organization of the deck plan, more than

200 Barracuda are now exploring the best fishing sites in the world.

Organized by Bénéteau with the assistance of partners whose reputation

needs no advertising when it comes to fishing, the first Barracuda Tour

last May was a great success. On board a Barracuda 7 and Barracuda 9,

Bénéteau’s teams and the best specialists at MC Technologies, Lowrance,

Illex, Daiwa, Fiiish, Honda and Henri Lloyd sailed more than 500 miles

along the Brittany coastline in France. Embarking on the adventure were

journalists and enthusiasts who registered to experience unforgettable

fishing trips, fishing for bass. They also shared in the magnificent

navigation during the eight stages of this rally. Joined every day by a few

owners on their Barracudas in the company of local fishing guides, this

original event highlighted the remarkable qualities of this boat, born to

reinvent the spirit of fishing.
