‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever’, says Keats,

True, it is; the creation of God hath made

The things beautiful, to be admired at, my heart beats,

Wonders at the nature, for its beauty will never fade!

‘Nature is the art of God’, admiring nature gives –

Pleasure, not for me alone, but for all, from the smallest

To the biggest of creatures in the world; the art lives

Forever and ever, expressing its’own uniqueness, to be the greatest!

The Earth is filled with fascinating features of Beauty;

The blooming flowers, the colourful butterflies, the birds singing,

How excellent the sapling, out from a seed sprouting!

The majestic mountains, the rivers of water; preserving them all is my duty!

The change of seasons, automatic – says the poet Shelley,

‘If Winter comes can Spring be far behind?’

Rising in the east and setting in the west, the sun daily,

Ah, the morn, the sky blue! The clouds wandering, will it end?

The tiny star, in the night sky, twinkling, so fabulous!

From the clouds, with Music and Lightings, showers the Rain;

The waves of the seas, incessantly rocking the shores, ceaseless;

The touch-me-not leaves, sensitive, shrinks, eventouched, again and again.

A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOREVER

Page 2: A thing of beauty is a joy forever

The marvellous appearance of the rainbow, its colours –

Seven and shining; the view, a feast to the eyes!

The green fields and pastures, the greatest joy, everyone savours

The beauty in nature, the gift of God, I give praise!

O, my Soul, feel joyous, for thy eyes can see and enjoy the Nature,

’Tis essential, that it must be preserved safe, for the future!
