A TALE OF TWO CONTINENTS

4 x 4 OFF ROAD UNIQUE 5 DAY/ 4 NIGHT TOUR BETWEEN EUROPE & AFRICA

First day: Your holiday starts at the Malaga/Seville/Jerez Airport, from where we will drive to

the magnificent town of Ronda. Retaining much of its historic charm, particularly in the old part,

Ronda is noted worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and amazing vistas.

We will have plenty of time to enjoy this town before we make our way to the province of Cadiz

and the old Moorish white town of Tarifa, our base our for the next two nights.

Second day: After breakfast we will visit the white villages that dot this beautiful area. Into the

Alcornocales National park, through some lovely natural scenery and the routes of the old

Moorish traders. Onto Alcala de los Gazules, the centre of the province of Cadiz. This white

village was given “Historic-Artistic” status in 1984, in recognition of the towns eclectic baroque

and neoclassic architecture as well as the typically Andaluz houses.

After that we will drive to Andalusia’s most dramatic pueblo blancos “Arcos de la Frontera”,

where we will stop for lunch and have time explore the labyrinth of cobbled streets leading up to

the sandstone castle of Castillo de los Arcos.

Our tour continues via the unspoiled village of “Medina Sidonia”, to the classic white village

perched on a hilltop “Vejer de la Frontera”. This beautiful village has one of the prettiest village

squares in Spain. A magical place to explore, its meandering jumble of cobbled streets, hidden

courtyards, and delightful houses. A chance to enjoy a coffee and take in the ambiance of this

wonderful place.

Finally we will head back early evening for our second night in Tarifa.

Third day: We depart after breakfast for our short journey by ferry to the mystical continent of

Africa, Northern Morocco and Tangiers. Here we meet our Moroccan guides and 4 x 4 vehicles,

taking us to the exotic Berber influenced town of Chefchaouen, situated in the Rif Mountains

amid panoramic scenery. The town dates back to 1471 with lovely blue rinsed houses and

buildings. Age old backstreet, bustling cafes and the mysticism of the Medina. Our base for the

night is an delightful and traditional Riad, with stunning views across the jumble of medina

rooftops and the cedar clad Rif Mountains.

Fourth day: Our second day in Morocco, takes us to Talasseemtane National Park, part of the

Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve, recognised under the guidance of UNESCO. Jbel

Bouhachem one of the most dramatic mountains within the heart of the park and renowned with

climbers and walkers alike. Our 4 x 4 s are perfect to explore and take in the less accessible

areas and villages of this stunning region. A full day viewing and introducing, a very different

way of life. Returning to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Fifth day: Sadly the last day of this fabulous and exiting Holiday, a chance to do some last

minute shopping and sightseeing. Before we make our return journey back to our home

destinations. Saying goodbye to new friends, experiences and a lifetime of memories to go with

you.

similar, subjected to availability).

2 nights half board accommodation in Chefchacouen in a Riad.
