• The abroad tourist number in Taiwan had already reached four million people.

• For the environmental protection in Kaohsiung.

• Lots of tour guide books are all in Chinese version.

• To promote the development of tourism.

• To design a Kaohsiung bicycle path English handbook

• To offer avtual service for foreign travelers.

• In order to help visiters to know the exact location of spots.

• To lead them to a better understanding of Kaohsiung.

• Seven majorbicycle routes in Kaohsiung.

• Respectively Houjin River gijin Ocean VPath, Love Rier and Lotus Pond Bicycle Path, Bo-Ai Bicycle Path, West Site Harbor Line Bicycle Path, Cianjhan District Bicycle Path and Chijin Ocean View Bicycle Path.

Houjin River Bicycle Path

• Located in Kaohsiung city, at the junction of Houjin River

• Length of 7.4 km.

• Bring health,water-bazed leisure to surrounding reigon.

Love River & Lotus Pond Bicycle Path

• The most complete bicycle path.

• The largest bicycle path in Kaohsiung.

• The fresh green rare and smile park.

Bo-Ai World Games Boulevard

• Length of 8.5 km.

• The new biking path has connevted with the walking path.

Formosa Boulevard Bicycle Path

• Length of 2.9 km.

• It connected to the train station

• The area is the essential business region in Kaohsiung.

West Side Harbor Line Bike Path

• Length of 1.8 km.

• Connected with the love pier.

• Enjoy the scenery of the tourist ports and piers.

Cianjhan District Bicycle Path

• Length of 2.4 km.

• Hydrophilic Green Belt has become a popular movement.

Chijin Ocean View Bike Path

• Length of 17 km.

• The district have a perfect natural coastal landscape.

• The surrounding area are filled with seafood restaurants.

• Published by Information Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government.

• Introduce the surrounding spots and recommend famous spots.

• It detailed address and telephone on every spots introduction.

Discovering Kaohsiung

• It published by the Public Work Bureau of Kaohsiung City.

• It introduced spots along the bicycle path and surrounding shopping district.

• It offered related information, bicycle gears and the reparation before riding.

II. MethodsThe chapter is for examinees 's background, th

e data of questionnaires, statistical analysis data tools and researching procedure for going a step further to explain.

• Total 20 foreigners wrote the questions.

• 12 men and 8 women.

• They are familiar with Kaohsiung Bicycle Path.
