Based on Savannah State University $2 million Georgia Power bill per year, SSU would use clean renewable energy for approximately 15% of its electricity.

Interviews with Faculty and Students

Students thought that the solar parking lot would be a positive addition to our campus.

Majority of the students were willing to pay more in parking fees to park under the solar panels.

Professor Kim from the mathematics department was concerned about the safety of the solar panels.

Prevention of Pollutants and Greenhouse Gases:

Daily:1,186 lbs of CO₂

Annually:216 tons of CO₂

2,795 lbs of Sulfur Dioxide

480 lbs of Nitrous Dioxide
