“A Light of God’s Love”
A small Church, In a small Town, Serving a Big GOD.
North Anderson Baptist Church
God’s Revelation to North Anderson Baptist is…”To honor and glorify God through worship, prayer, teaching, community service and mission opportunities.”
Steve Morgan is doing the
cooking, but we need you to
bring the desserts.
We are now taking a Love
Offering for Pastor Bill to be
presented to him June 12th.
Please write on an envelope that it is a love
offering for Pastor Bill.
This month is
Pastor Bill &
Lynda’s
25th Anniversary here at NABC.
There will be a church
wide luncheon cele-
bration after church on
Sunday, June 12th.

From Your Pastor…
Dear Church Family,
Thank you for being so faithful to the revival. God is still working in hearts
of those who came and in the church as a whole. We thank God for Dr.
Frank Page and his messages from the Living Word!
Please know that Lynda and I are excited about being here at NABC for 25
years. God has truly touched our hearts and the lives of many over the years.
We pray that He will gain the glory and honor from all that has been done in
the name of the Lord these years with you in His church.
“As for other matters, brothers and sisters, we instructed you how
to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we
ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and
more. 2 For you know what instructions we gave you by the au-
thority of the Lord Jesus.”
9 “
Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to
you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each
other. 10
And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout
Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more
and more…” (1 Thessalonians 4:1-2, 9-10)
We believe that we can never out love the Lord. North Anderson folks, you
are a loving people and God is calling for you to love “more and more.” A
time has come in our society that our love for others will be challenged and
we must past that trial. We do not have to believe like others, for our God
has given His perfect guidelines for us to follow and in those guidelines we
are to show love to all no matter who they are or what they believe, for Jesus
loves them and we shall love them too. The world will hate you for the val-
ues that you hold on to but if you show them God’s true love they will see
Jesus in you and whether they accept His message and turn to Him or not,
you will have done what your Savior and Lord has taught you. Stand strong
in the faith my friends!

Thank you to everyone who cut box tops for the Stone kids! Our co-op won the homeschool association's box top challenge, and the ice cream party, for the sec-
ond year in a row. If you can, please keep passing along those box tops for next year. They are welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks again! Kerri
OUR MISSION
Finding MEANING in Christ
Praising Him thru MUSIC
Serving Him thru MINISTRY
NABC Watchcare Ministry Our church provides an opportunity to join our fellowship under a “Watchcare” designation. This allows you to maintain your home church memebership, but have the support and care while at college of belonging to caring fellow-ship.

An Open Letter So, you are in your late teens or early 20’s. Now what? You are making some of life’s major
Decisions that will have long term impacts:
What career path will you take?
What friendships will you make?
Who will you marry?
Will I marry?
What about money?
The potential to make choices similar to your peers and follow the trends of our culture are
enormous. But, are these the best choices for you? Many of your peers will make choices that
lead to deepening debt, relationship issues, possible addiction issues and a generally unful-
filled life.
Your life can be different. Come fellowship and study God’s Word with us as we seek to
learn how to use Biblical principles to lay a solid foundation for the future. God’s plan is to
prosper you, not harm you, to give you a hope and a future. (Jer 29:11) But, the catch is,
NEXT GENERATION @ HOME
One Sunday each month we plan to
meet in a member’s home instead of
at the church; an opportunity to relax
and enjoy a home environment.
COLLEGE & CAREER

During June, for our mission project,
we will be collecting donations
of money to help with the Interna-
tional Students Welcome Basket
project. These baskets are given to
new international students in
August at Clemson University and
Anderson University. This ministry
is a great way to show Christian love
and care of those students who
are so far away from their homes.
You may give donations to Pam
Parker, Paula Holland or Judy
Brown. Thank you for your help
with our mission projects. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Caring Hands meeting “Thinking
ahead, let's plan for lunch in
JUNE” at Mary Simmons house on Friday, June 10th at 10 am for knit-ting, crocheting with an inspirational devotion. Everyone bring some-
thing to share and then we can have
some pool time if you want. I know
our Lilly is ready. :) Please mark your calendars now.

As ALWAYS with NABC you Don’t Have to Be A Member to Join In and
“Get Involved.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

From your Director of Administration & Education…
Growing up I love to watch movies and shows especially with
any type of water theme. There was Twenty Thousand Leagues
Under the Sea, Aquaman, Flipper and many more. This year’s
VBS theme is “Submerged”. Vacation Bible School is a very
important time in a church. It is a valuable time of growing and
learning about God and many do make decisions for Christ dur-
ing this time. Please consider helping out this year with VBS,
there are many opportunities to serve. Please ask Chuck & Julie
Carver or me about how you can serve.
June is here and that means TNT for our children. TNT is a
time of fun, fellowship and Bible devotion on Tuesdays morn-
ings from 8:30 to 12:00 noon. We will start this year’s TNT
with a Movie at the theatre. Craft day will be the following
week. We have some new crafts for this year and some old
familiar ones like tie dying t-shirts. Game day will involve a
giant game board and a Jenga game taller than any child. Of
course TNT would not be the same if we didn’t go out to Cala-
ham’s Farm and pick peaches in July. If you are wanting to help
just let me know, I would love any help I can find. And if you
are going to participate please fill out a card and return it to me,
this helps me prepare for each week.
