_Prologue_

Every god's children have their powers disabled until their specialized

weapon or item activates their powers, and that usually happens when

the children’s family member that is a god either dies, retire, or gets

imprisoned by the satanic gods, in Dan's case (main character his aunt

has been murdered by another god but he doesn't !now that yet, in the

regular world she died because of pancreatic cancer last stage, but

there’s a lot more than meets the eye and he will soon discover that"

Dan’s special item is an elemental sword !atana hidden in his aunt’s

nec!lace"

# single word can change someone’s life forever, that’s what happened

to me" $y name is Dan, and one single word made me become a god, %

mean literally how is that even possible right& ou’re probably

wondering how a single word made me a god, well let’s start to where it

all began" ne morning % wo!e)up very early so that % wouldn’t miss my

bar e*am, in case you don’t !now, a bar e*am is an e*am that % must

pass to become a lawyer" #fter % got dressed % had left my house to head

to the testing area" % started my car but it wouldn’t turn on instead the

engine !ept on spar!ing" +reat, bad luc! had already started, on my

e*am day even, ust wow" -ince my dumb car wouldn’t turn on % had no

choice but to wal! to the nearest bus station" % had gotten on the bus and

% only had fifteen minutes to arrive at my e*am, but again there had to be

bad luc! occurring to me, % realized that % forgot my e*am id at home, so

when % arrived to the nearest stop to my university, and % had to as! my

supervisor if % could ta!e the e*am on another day" #t least one thing

was wor!ing so far. my teacher allowed my re/uest and rescheduled my

e*am onto the following wee!end" -ince after tal!ing to my supervisor,

it was lunch time and % decided to go eat lunch at 0rainway supposedly

1#lways 2resh3 but sometimes % feel li!e they left the meat in the

container for wee!s, because there’s little to no flavor most of the time" %

ordered a 4$0 sandwich with -wiss cheese and spicy sauce, when my

order had been completed % started to feel li!e my life was pointless and

that everything in the world seem to really despise my presence, the

main reason % believe that statement is because when % was a toddler my

mother and father had abandoned me at my aunt’s house and % was

raised by her till % reached the age of si*teen, she then was diagnosed

with a pancreatic cancer at the last stage, and passed away a few months

after my birthday" -he left me her estate, money, car everything she

owned she had left it to her sisters son, not her son but for me, living in

that house everyday made me happy because % felt she was near and also

very depressed because % missed her every day since her passing" 5hen %

finished feeling bad for myself and eating too, % was going to e*it the

restaurant till a guy sits at my table" 0his guy had hazel eyes, red spi!y

hair and was really attractive, oh % forgot to mention that %’m gay not the

man was sitting in front of me, while both of us weren’t eating" 0hen

after five minutes % couldn’t handle the silence anymore" -o % spo!e first.

my table still trying to understand what had ust happened, but after that

day everything started to change, after two hours of perple*ion % left the

restaurant and headed home by ta!ing the bus, once % arrived home, too!

my shower and went to bed, % stared at a nec!lace that my aunt had

always worn when she was alive, after a while of staring at the golden)

hearted pendant % had fallen asleep" -omething happened when % wo!e

up my veins all over my body started to burn, li!e literally everywhere

and a symbol of a flame with different colors appeared on my chest as if

all the blood from my veins went to my chest and li!e a painter, painted

this glowing symbol" % felt li!e the whole world was falling onto me and

was obliterating my soul and body slowly till when % was ready to give

up on life it all stopped" 0he veins had stopped burning and % was myself

again e*cept the symbol was still there and a purple !atana sword

appeared glowing on the floor, as nosy as % was % decided to ta!e the

sword out of its sheath, and when % did it glowed even more, and the

blade itself had a blood shading color with a 8hinese dragon symbol all

over the blade circling every side of the blade" 5hen % touched the blade

% felt a surge of energy flowing through my body, and suddenly my body

was aching again and then % fainted from the pain, % /uic!ly realize that

my best friend was supposed to come over and tell me how the e*am

went for him, but he would be very shoc!ed to see me laying on the

floor !noc!ed out, so % had to wa!e up % ust had too" #fter a while i

suddenly wo!e up, % was flustered because i was no longer on the

ground, % was floating in the air na!ed" -uddenly the front doors of my

house open and my best friend had entered, speechless he stood there

and stared at me with a weird face, not a surprised loo! li!e most people

would have but ust a weird face li!e it was to his advantage that % was

remembered the nec!lace that my aunt had always worse, and ran to my

room to get it" 5hen % had arrived to my room % noticed that the !atana

from earlier was in the place of where the nec!lace had been, when %

loo!ed closer the nec!lace was poised as a symbol on the sheath of the

sword, 1-o this must be my item"""$y parents were gods& 4ut this

nec!lace was my aunts@3 % felt very confused and sat on my bed

thin!ing why my aunt never told me any of this and how % the lamest

person in the world became a god" #fter a while of staring at the

nec!lace #idan had sat down in my room unnoticed until % stopped

staring at my aunt’s nec!lace which became mine" 1Dan are you o!ay&3

#idan said and got up from my des! chair and sat ne*t to me on my bed"

1ou’ve been staring at that nec!lace for a while and didn’t even notice

me ha)ha""3 1-orry #idan you came in my room and % was in my mind

thin!ing of things, sorry for not having noticed you, by the way % thin! %

figured out what my god item is but % don’t !now which family member

of mine is a god"3 #idan wrapped his s!inny but delicate arms around

me and said, 1%t will be o!ay""3 =e !new % felt really odd and e*tremely

afraid of the situation % was put in" 2or the remaining time that he

hugged me % felt his warmth from his body and it reassured me that in

time everything will be alright" #fter a few moments we both pushed

each other away and loo!ed away very nervously and blushing, #idan

has been my best friend since we were babies, % couldn’t thin! of a time

where me and him aren’t together, when % was younger % used to be

bullied hard)core by people in my school who thought it was funny to

pic! on someone who was /uiet, shy, nerdyAgee!y" 4ut every time they

pic!ed on me #idan came to my rescue and comforted me during my sad

painful moments, we both shared our care together because #idan had

lost his grandma in a car accident when we were in middle school and he

mother to him, she had always been giving him the motherly love that he

couldn’t get since his mother had abandoned him when he was a baby"

5hen she passed away % too! great care of him and made sure he was

never alone, because the worst situation would be enduring all that pain

adventure, although it sounds crazy to follow on obects order

indirectly&3 he says with a very e*cited tone that ma!es you feel

obligated to say yes" #s % was reaching for two brief cases % replied him

with, 1#lright im going, % feel li!e going on an adventure instead of

embarrassing myself to ta!e the bar e*am and forget something

important in order to ta!e it, so why not ill come with you on this

adventure of ours even though we have no reason why your bracelet

wants us to go to =ong Bong, unless it’s to meet other people li!e us"

#idan go to your house and pac! everything you need, since % have more

money ill buy us our tic!ets and hotel room, go /uic!ly and meet me at

the airport, oh and""3 % /uic!ly ta!e out my wallet from my bac! poc!et

and ta!e out thirty dollars and said, 1#lso here don’t use your car ta!e

the cab instead to go to the airport3" #idan put the money in his poc!et

and e*citedly answers, 1!ay;; %m glad you’re going with me on this

insane choice % decided, %’ll go now, te*t ya when % get to airport;; -ee

ya;3 #idan says with a surge of energy as he heads out of my house, %

then open my two briefcases and choose the clothes that % li!e and fill up

my briefcases, when % was done pac!ing up % headed out to my car and

put my two brief cases and went bac! to my house and threw out all my

food since % did not !now when % would return, % then too! a shower, put

light clothing and /uic!ly ate lunch" % really li!e sushi so % ate two pac!s

of salmon sushi and left my house to meet #idan to the airport" % was

driving on the highway in my Phrysler C, there was such a hold up"

0here were too many cars so % had to call #idan to warn him of my late

arrival, 1=ello&3 #idan replied, 1=i Dan what time are you coming to

the airport& ur flight is in minutes;3 his voice sounded very an*ious"

1Don’t worry there’s a bit of a hold up on the highway but according to

my gps % should be there in FG minutes don’t worry, don’t forget to ta!e

your motion sic!ness medications, because every time you ta!e the

airplane you get sic!, don’t worry % won’t bail on ya man;3 % had arrived

at the airport par!ing lot, % too! my briefcases and headed to the

elevator, on my way to the elevator something strange happened to me@

$y nec!lace started glowing@ % also felt that someone was behind me,

so % turned around to see@ when % do there’s this person wearing all

anything in fact" % was starting to feel very frightened, so % bac!ed away

slowly from the person to go towards the elevator@ as % was heading to

the elevator % noticed the person was approaching me in a fast speed, at

that moment my instincts too! over me % said an unfamiliar word,

and % ust ripped it off my nec!@a sheath appeared @the mysterious

person revealed itself to me by removing what had hidden its face, but

when it did % wished that it had remained concealed"" that persons face

was blan!, emotionless""" the person too! out a scythe and appeared

behind me to attac!, % had no idea what to do much so % decided to ta!e

my !atana out of its sheath and hope that my instincts !ic! in, which it

did@ % fought the creature, it was very difficult and % had gotten hit

multiple times on my shoulder@ every time its scythe stri!ed me in my

leg, my s!in felt li!e acid was being poured onto it""" #fter H long

minutes of fighting % had sliced the creature’s arms off, it had shrie!ed a

loud yell and had disappeared@ #fter that intense battle % had put my

sword away in its sheath and it became a nec!lace again@ % wore it on

and fell to my !nees because of my e*haustion from the previous fight"

1Dan;;;;; #re you o!ay&&&&3 % heard #idan yelling as he was running

towards me" 1% am o!ay@ this random person all blac! attac!ed me and

% !ic!ed his aII but he still hurt me ha)ha""" our flight is in five minutes

we should go to our flight now or else we will miss it;3 % said grunting

while trying to get up" 1#lright get on3 #idan said while crouching on

the floor" 1ou’re giving me a piggybac! ride""&3 % replied feeling very

nervous and my face turning red, % was too scared to hear his answer so %

ust went on his bac! as instructed" #idan then got up, too! my two brief

cases and we headed into the elevator to the flight dispatch area on the

pretty aw!ward for you but % don’t want your leg to hurt more than it

already does, bear with it J!ay&3 % felt really happy that % have someone

who cares that much about me, for once % was important to somebody"3

!ay um my passport and our tic!ets are in the purple briefcase in the

front poc!et;3 % said very happily" 1#lright % have to put you down

when we get to the flight help des!"3 #idan says with a worried voice

tone" 5e then have arrived at the help des! and he puts me down, get

the passport and tic!ets and hands them to the employee lady wearing a

weird -ponge4ob bracelet" 1ou guys are very luc!y the airplane will

leave in three minutes, follow me to the airplane3 the flight attendant

said" #idan /uic!ly crouched again and said, 1+et on Danny;3 %

immediately while limping went onto his bac! and he got up" 5e

followed the flight attendant to our seats which was near the bac! of the

airplane near a window, #idan went to my seat and crouched again and

helped me get seated perfectly and then sat beside me" % had never really

noticed that he was very muscular until now@ #fter a few minutes of

you thin! awaits us at =ong Bong&3 #idan who was staring out the

windows turned his head towards me and on his face he had his very

funny and cute e*pression where he closes his eyes and have a small

smir!, he usually have this e*pression when he has to pee" 17m Danny

can we rain chec! this conversation % have to piss very badly % can’t hold

it, e*cuse me for a bit@3 #idan said as he unbuc!led his seat belt and

headed to the airplane restroom" -ince we were in first class there

weren’t much people so luc!ily he got to use the restroom in time" %n

had been faced with at the airport, % can still not wrap myself around the

fact that myself and #idan are gods and that there are others li!e us@

what really bothered me the most was why had the person in blac!

attac! me, im the least violent type and % have never harmed someone@

so why would they attac! me li!e that, did my aunt or parents have to do

with what happened, whatever it was % !new that when we get to =ong

Bong, after a while of thin!ing #idan appeared and my thoughts were

put to a halt@ #idan went bac! to sitting beside me and put on his seat

through my bag to find the first aid !it and started to tend to my

how much % feel grateful for having you;3 4efore he had time to respond

some sort with him he loved reading as do % but the difference between

us would be that he reads a lot of fiction boo!s and i read ton of factual

closed my eyes and went to sleep for the entire flight@ #fter the

higher than four stars please, do you !now any good pizza deliveries

here&3 0he driver started to drive and responded, 1es pizza palace is

very delicious and pretty pricey but it doesn’t seem li!e the price will

my leg felt way better and was o!ay to wal! now but he still offered to

mind, so when % reached the hotels reception % as!ed for my own room,

the door" % opened the door let him in and he sat down on my couch and

laid down" % closed my door and something strange started to happen to

me, my nec!lace glowed, not li!e before but this time only the white

bright color shined through the nec!lace@ my nec! started to burn a bit

and % felt nauseous, when % went over to #idan % saw his bracelet was

doing the same and he seemed to be in pain too@ % then as!ed 15hat is

happening to us&&&3 #idan then got up wal!ed up to me and said, 1%

don’t !now it’s hurting a lot will we die@im scared Danny@3 =e said

while tears came out of his eyes" #idan is naturally scared to anything

that he cannot understand, % never !new why but he always was, so %

li!e him at the moment % was frightened horrifyingly but someone had to

and the room had became full of white flames and in a blin! of an eye

we were somewhere else@ 5here it wasn’t night but day and on a

mountain, since there was cherry blossoms china would be the precise

location" 5hen we arrived at the mysterious location we were in the

same position and our godly items returned to their regular motionless

state" 15here are we@"& #idan said with a terrified e*pression@ %

removed my arms from around him and replied, 1-ince there’s cherry

blossoms and were on a mountain % would guess that were somewhere in

china north@ # mysterious lady behind us appeared" 1:ice observation
