D.D.O, District in-charges & controlling Officer, over-all incharge for
administration and functioning of the Department of Sericulture in the
District. Over all supervision in all matters pertaining to development
sericulture and welfare of the farmers staff and public of the district.
Conduct of inspections/visits at the farm and field level and meetings etc.

To assist District controlling officer and co-ordinate with the sub-ordinate
staff and private farmers of the district. Examine & process all the
reports/ documents submitted by the circle incharges before putting-up
to the District controlling Officer. Conduct of spot verification, inspection,
exihibitions and trainings etc. Preparation of proposal for farm-wise
yearly production targets of seeds, seedlings, saplings, cocoons etc in
consultation with the District controlling Officer and submission.

To co-ordinate & execute matters/works at the farms and field levels.
Incharge of circle/farm/reeling unit/spinning unit/garinage and
participate in activities related to development of sericulture under
his/her jurisdiction. Look after the farm office & staff quarter (s)/
rearing house (s)/ grainage (s) , all assets created, moveble and
immoveble properties of the farm, maintainance of staff attendance
register, labour attendance register, farm stock registers, production
registers, revenue registers, circle private farmer register, receipt &
dispatch register etc. Distribution of daily work to the labours for
management of farm. Timely planning and execution of work to be
taken-up in the farm and circle. Submission of reports of the farm and
the circle etc.

To assist farm-in charge in supervising the various activities at the
farm/ unit/ field levels in rearing, plantation, preparation of nurseries,
training of beneficieries, preparation of farm journal, quarterly & yearly
progress report, farm store maintenance, preparation of dfls, spinning
of yarn, weaving, disinfection, reparing of farm fencing, distribution of
layings, seedlings, sapling, seeds in the circle etc. Supervise farm
labours and management of farm.

levels activities. Conduct awareness programme, exihibitions, need-
based trainings programme & demonstration, disinfection, pebrine

layings, seedlings, sapling, seeds in the circle etc.
