The Harper’s Hope 4*1 Foundation was founded in 2009, by Roman Harper as a part of his commitment to serve the communities that have supported him throughout his life.
The mission of the Harper’s Hope 4*1 Foundation is to strengthen families and enhance their emo-tional, social and spiritual health through educational programs, enrichment activities, and economic development. The Foundation fosters empowerment skills and provides lasting coaching experiences that will help individuals realize their potential, build self-esteem and strive for excellence.
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Past Foundation Activities• Christmas Toys donation to Birmingham Public Schools • Game Night After Party at Whiskey Blue, to raise money and awareness for the United Way in its disaster relief efforts• Roman filmed a public service announcement encouraging people to “Be a Saint” and give to United Way’s Gulf Coast Recovery Fund. • “Hope for the Holidays,” --paid to rebuild the families’ homes in time for the Christmas Holiday with the assistance of the United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area and Phoenix of New Orleans (PNOLA).
ABOUT ROMAN HARPERRoman Harper is an American football safety with the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. Roman has en-joyed success at every level he has played football. Harper went to high school in Prattville, Alabama where he was a standout Quarterback, Safety, & Returner for Prattville High School. He led the Lions to a 9-2 record his Senior season. Roman was a 1st Team All State performer & was also selected to the Alabama-Mississippi All Star Game. Roman attended the University of Alabama. He was a four-year letterman and a three-year starter and finished his college football career with 302 tackles, five interceptions, five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and 3.5 sacks.
He was drafted in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. In 2009, Harper earned his first Pro Bowl berth and helped lead the New Orleans Saints to Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, FL. In 2010, Roman earned his second Pro Bowl berth where the NFC triumphed over the AFC.

Strengthen Families” on July 8-9, 2011, in his hometown of Prattville, AL at the exclusive Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill.
“A Sainted Weekend” kicks off on Friday, July 8th with a private Celebrity Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction. Players have the opportunity to meet their teammates and
the celebrities, as well as network with Sponsors and Community Leaders while enjoying the evening. On Saturday, guests will participate in the Celebrity Golf
Tournament followed by an exciting awards dinner.
“A Sainted Weekend” will take place at the Marriott Montgomery Prattville at Capitol Hill and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Capitol Hill.
