JECRC Staff Celebration 2020
JECRC College had a get-together and New Year celebration on January 02, 2020 in
College campus from 09:00 AM onwards in which lot of fun activities took place
including various sports etc. This event was successfully organized by coordination
of all the faculty members and staff. All members took participate in the events and
they all welcomes the new year with happiness and positivity.
Hon’ble Director sir inaugurated the function at 10:00 AM. All these activities were
also followed by breakfast and lunch. All the staff members enjoyed the tasty food.
And they also had fun while participating in the games.

6. Ice Breaker
At the beginning of the celebration Ms. Chitra conducted the Ice breaker
session for one and all present in the lawn. The first activity was conducted
in pairs while the next one was to be done individually. Name of activity1
is 1-2-3-4 and other one was salutation. All the partcipents enjoyed this
activity very much and Dr. Barkha Shrivastav and Dr. Ruchi Mathur were
the winners of the activity.
7. Musical Chairs
The game which was a part of the New Year celebration 2020 kicked off
at the central lawns of Block A of Jecrc Campus Sitapura. The game was
huge hit with the faculty members. It involved a huge number of faculty
members and staff and acted as an Ice breaker which immediately set the
tone of the rest of the day.
The registrations for the event were done by the registration Team
comprising of Ms. Kusum Yadav, IT Dept. and Mr. Kedar, Registrar
office. Their effort is highly appreciated as the registration crossed the
mark of 100 and they managed to take those numbers. The efforts of
Tovendra Sir and Rajendra Sirowa Sir are equally appreciated as they
arranged for the sound system without which Musical Chairs could never
have been what it came out to be. They contributed much beyond
expectation by being actively supportive and coordinating all through the
game.
The flavor of fun was added to the game by the energetic, hilarious and
enthusiastic anchoring of Mr. Devesh Gupta, EC Dept and Ms. Abhilasha,
CS Dept. They involved the participants as well as the spectators through
their anchoring in the game, which was superbly humorous and lively.
The open and involving attitude of the faculty and staff members in the
game brought life to it. Instances of enjoyment were added by Kuldeep Sir,
Mech. Dept, Ashish Sir, EC Dept, Vijeta Mam CS Dept, just to mention a
few.
The winners of the game were- 1) Brijlata Mam, Civil Dept.

3) Ashok Sir, EE Dept.
4) Brijesh Sir, ME Dept.
A whole hearted thanks to the Management of the college that gave this
platform to the faculty members and the staff for having a day to
themselves. Thanks also to the Organizers special mention, Mukesh
Agarwal Sir and Chitra Mam Spiritual Cell, who spent days to get
everything running in a smooth manner and making the whole event a
grand success. The team of Musical Chairs heartily thanks everyone for
their contribution in making it fun filled and a happy event.

14. Open Stage
During the New Year Celebration Meet 2020, Open stage program was coordinated
by Dr. Ruchi Mathur and Dr. Barkha Shrivastava of Applied Science Department at
12 Noon. The event lasted for almost an hour.
This event provided a platform for all the members of JECRC (Teaching and Non-
Teaching) to Showcase their talent in front of everyone and overcome their stage fear.
The main motive was to engage all in the activity designed for entertainment, fun and
happiness.
“Pic of the Day”
Dr. Barkha Shrivastava initiated the event with a comic act of “Announcement
in a Metro train coming from Mathura in the accent of the region”. This act
made everyone burst with laughter.
Dr. Ruchi Mathur and Mr. Dashrath made the crowd move with the lyrics of
beautiful songs sung by them.
Dr. Sanjay Gaur (HoD,CSE) took forward the program in a poetic manner. He
recited some beautiful lines which mesmerized the people sitting in the lawn.
Anchors also did a small question answer round, so that everyone sitting there
can get involved in the program. Mr. Vishal Sharam(EE) and Dr. Sanjay Gaur
had a debate on lighter note , showing the importance of their department.
Senior faculty member and Professor from Department of Applied Science,
Prof. S.K. Dixit took the stage and conveyed his feelings in the form of a song
and earned the praises.
To sum up the event with fun and laughter, Dr. Ruchi Mathur and Dr. Barkha
Shrivastava conducted a “Kaafiya round” where everyone participated with great
zeal and made a chain of rhyming lines that add fun to the environment.
The program ended at 1.20pm and everyone moved for Lunch.
15. Event – Dumb Charades
During celebration meet 2020
Dumb Charades events was
organized between 12.00 P.M to
2.30 P.M. Coordinators of the event
were Dr. Barkha Shrivastava & Dr.
Ruchi Mathur. Total 24 members
participated in the event. Event
started with narration of the rules to
the participations. 3 teams of 8
members each were formed. The
game was held in 3 rounds.
In first round each team has to
enact a movie, given to them by
another team, in front of his
team .
In Second round all the teams
made their team members
understand a Bollywood song
by enactment.
In Third round movie name as
well as actors were also to be
guessed by all the teams. An Outset Performance

Time given for each act was 1minute 30 seconds. All the teams showed their talent
in acting as well as guessing the names. Whole activity was full of fun & enjoyment.
All the 24 members participated with great excitement & vigor. Winners for the event
were Mr. Akhil Maheshwari and his team.

17. Tug of War
This sport represents a concept so classic that in many languages its name is used in
everyday language. Tug-of-war’s long history as the purest contest of human strength
provides glorious moments. In the Olympics from Paris 1900 through Antwerp 1920,
in The World Games from 1981, and in Tug of War International Federation World
Championships held outdoors and indoors … When the referee commands “Pick up
the rope!” – “Take the strain!” – “Pull!” adrenalin pushes eight athletes on each side
to muster every ounce of strength in their bodies.
This game was also organized at jecrc campus on January 2, 2020 during welcome
meet 2020 with other no of activities. A lot of participant tried their muscle strength
against opponents for wining but true macho will win. In this team of electronics and
communication department was in male category. The team of c-block female faculty
was winner in female category. At the end of day all winner got prizes by directors
of jecrc foundation and other dignitaries. Here are some glimpses of the events.
