The success of public education depends not only on the expertise of teachers and administrators, but also on the commitment of the community a district serves. Your willingness to support the Lewisville Independent School District through the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF) speaks volumes about your desire to make public education in North Texas live up to the ideal and provide an educational experience for all students and teachers that will build a stronger tomorrow for everyone.

LEF respectfully asks **TKTK** to consider the following proposal to advance the mission of public education and further support LISD through scholarships, grants, and program-based fundraising.

Your gift makes it possible to encourage the more than 1,000 students and 150 teachers who annually apply for the $500,000 available in scholarship, fellowship and grant award funds. Without you, we would not be able to demonstrate to our teachers and students the value of their hard work and achievement. When they know community members such as yourself support them in every way possible, they are able to strive toward higher goals.

As an LEF supporter, you will receive recognition through several different mediums. The most immediate and visible recognition will be as an event sponsor. We host two main in-person

We can develop a recognition program specific to your needs.

Building community only matters when that community stands behind a worthy cause. The more than 55,000 students, teachers, and administrators served by LEF continue to make all of our lives better by preparing the next generation of civic-minded citizens, workforce leaders, and contributing members of our society. Your gift ensures that LEF will continue to improve the educational experience for all students and teachers while investing in the growth and well being of our communities. I have the absolute best job in the world as the librarian at Central Elementary because I get to help students fall in love with reading, discover the magic of opening a book and all

of the possibilities and experiences that await them when they visit a library. I think that going to school in LISD prepared me so well for college. LISD shaped me into an open minded student,

ready to learn new things. LISD gave me the foundation of all the education I needed and the courage to go out and add to that basis of knowledge. I have all those teachers in elemen-tary, middle school and high school that cared and nurtured me all these years and I’m ready to jump out into the world and really learn what it’s all about. I feel so blessed and honored to have received the LEF scholarship that helped me achieve this wonderful experience of a lifetime!
