  • Region 14 Vision What have we been aiming for? ?
  • Slide 7
  • Teachers Students Content Aiming for Excellence If we design meaningful opportunities for students to engage in and design their own learning experiences, then students will become increasingly self-directed and independent in 21 st century skills. If we identify the knowledge and skills needed for students to be college and career ready in the 21st century and develop a guaranteed, standards-based curriculum, then there will be clarity, consistency and equity to what all students will learn and what all staff teach. If we provide ongoing, high quality, professional learning based on identified student and teacher needs, then teachers will continue to develop their professional craft and student learning will improve.
