INTRODUCTION

Our director Gary Ashfield and the company’s team have over 35 years’ in Constructing, Growing-in and Maintaining Golf Courses throughout the world. Golf East was formed in 2002, and we have been based in Central Europe situated between Vienna and Budapest since 2004.

For our company the central location and our teams previous works experiences in the new emerging markets, ranging from Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine and the Middle East, gave us a unique understanding of how to Develop, carry out Consultation, Project Management and Construct Golf Courses within these new markets.

As the markets have evolved so have we. Our core business remains; Project Management, Consultation, Construction and Maintenance and since 2012 we have been able to offer alongside our normal works a complete Golf Facility Management and advisory service, that provides turn key solutions for Golf developments.

With our knowledge, experience and networks connections we are able to cover all aspects of the project from the conceptual stage to the Management and daily operations whilst following the business development plan.

This provides a guarantee that the project will be completed on time, on budget with all the commercial elements aligned.

The Golf Construction industry is unique in comparison to other Construction divisions and require specialized machinery and knowledge to execute the works.

Equipment

• Golf East are proud to have been chosen as the Golf specialist contractor for the complete reconstruction of all 18 Greens plus practice Greens at the world famous Majlis Golf Course, Emirates Golf Club Dubai.

• The new works we are undertaking are not to be confused with a restoration as all the Greens will be completely reconstructed using the latest USGA specifications and materials. This complete reconstruction allows for the Greens to be rebuilt to their original size and shaped to meet the Clubs original and improved design contours.

Irrigation Water Management

At Golf East we have been privileged to have Installed and managed some of the largest technologically advanced Irrigation systems in Southern Europe and the Middle East.

Using the latest Irrigation systems and water recycling units, alongside the newer varieties of warm season Grasses ,we are able to manage the local temperatures and poor water quality conditions associated within the Middle East without detriment to the environment or local water supplies.

Quality Control & Attention to Detail

• Once the land is re contoured and Shaped as per the Architects Design and Vision, all Drainage and Irrigation can be placed, we then can begin with the most important phase of the project The Finishing Works.

• As in all works the attention to detail is critical and to carry out the Finishing works all aspects of the previous detailed works must be kept without any loss. From the re spreading of the Humus or Sweet soil, to the Grading and Seed Bed preparations, extreme care and expertise must be taken.

• A Golf Course finished badly will endure years of corrective maintenance and a life-time of extra costs. A course finished with quality will enjoy a life-time of pleasure, return on investment and an assured reputation growing year by year.
