ABOUT AITAM
Aditya Institute of Technology and Management
(AITAM), Tekkali, is a premier engineering institute in
Andhra Pradesh located at Tekkali adjacent to NH-5 at a
distance of 45 Km from district head quarters, Srikakulam
and 150 Kms from Visakhapatnam air port. It was
established in 2001 by some philanthropic personalities
with an urge to provide quality based technical education
in East Coastal region. It has strong commitment to
provide quality education in engineering, technology and
management.
AITAM is an autonomous institute approved by AICTE,
accredited by NBA, NAAC & recognized under 2(f) and
12(b) by UGC and permanently affiliated to
JNTU - Kakinada. It is one among the few Technical
Institutions in India participating in TEQIP Phase -II.

ROUTE MAP
Objective of the Workshop:
Differentiating Mathematics, Physical Sciences and
Engineering is false dichotomy. In fact they
constitute the integral part of any pragmatic
Application. With this perception, this workshop,
encompass Mathematical Modeling, Energy and
Environment, Solar Cells and Lasers in the
contemporary context. As a finale, the focus will be
on LaTex and SPSS, these being the indispensable
tools. Mathematical Modeling is vital in analyzing
various parameters that can provide qualitative and
quantitative description of the system/sub system
under consideration The zenith of the technological
endeavor is the sustainable development; satisfying
the needs of the present without sacrificing the needs
of the future, that pertains to Energy and
Environment Economic viability of the Solar Cells
remains the major challenge yet. Though Organic
solar cells have great promise for the future, they
have limitations in their current form. Lasers have
proven to be highly reliable, consistent, and
predictable in the production of energy efficient
solar cells. These aspects concern Solar Cells and
Lasers. LaTeX is a versatile tool for preparation and
publication of scientific documents and books that
contain complex multilingual content or
mathematical formulae or both. On the other hand,
SPSS provides theoretical concepts and empirical
insight for an amateur student, an academician and
a researcher
Topics of the Workshop:
 Mathematical Modeling
 LaTeX
Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS)
 Energy & Environment
Advanced Solar Cells, Batteries & Lasers
Synthesis and Characterisation of Advanced materials
NOTE:
The sessions for Physical Sciences and Mathematics
are scheduled simultaneously.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Faculty, research scholars and PG Students from dif-ferent institutes, universities and research organiza-
tions across the country.
REGISTRATION FEE:
Participants from Engineering Institutions : Rs. 500/-
