I know most of you are wondering what you are going to do with all of your time
over spring break? You will be excited to hear that I have a few suggestions for you…
Besides finalizing the list of colleges you might be interested in applying to and possibly
visiting some universities, you can always start to prepare for your college entrance exams.
You all will be taking the SAT in April and now is the time to start to prepare. Did you know
the Khan Academy has free practice exams online?!?!? Check it out over spring break. If
you just dedicate 1 hour a day it will pay off...
Upcoming ACT/SAT Test Prep Options
1. ZAPS SAT Test Prep: They will host a one day session at DCC on Saturday, April 6
th from 9:00-
3:00 pm. Other test prep dates are also offered. For more information call 877-927-8378 or visit www.doorwaytocollege.com/act-test-prep
2 Khan Academy—online SAT test prep. Can be exceptionally useful if you took the PSAT in October as you can roll your results into the Khan Academy for Free and build a personalized test prep program.
3. Other test prep services can be found though PrincetonReview.com, kaptest.com, Pikes Peak Test Prep, and sylvanlearning.com

RMYLC is a leadership conference held June 24-28 at
UCCS, sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Youth
Leadership Foundation. The conference is geared
towards rising seniors demonstrating leadership.
