A Night in AthensUnder the Stars

Page 2 2016 HMOG Greek Festival

On behalf of the entire community of Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church, I extend to you our warmest welcome to Tallahassee’s Greek Festival 2016! We hope your visit is pleasant and satisfying in all aspects of mind, body, and spirit. We have labored long and hard to make sure your time is well spent and offer the best Greek food. The food has been prepared by many of the parishioners with recipes that have been passed down through the generations. We hope you enjoy the music, dancing and Greek hospitality

to make your visit feel like home. I believe you’ll find that we share love of family, laughter and enjoyment of great food. Besides the food and dancing, you are invited to our place of worship to partake of a church tour that will lead you to the ancient traditions of the Orthodox Christian faith. Our community is comprised of Americans with many ethnic origins and we look forward to getting to know you during your time with us. If we can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to ask any member of the community. I hope I have a chance to meet you during your visit to the festival and once again welcome to our home. God Bless You and Your Families, Rev. Fr. Robert J. O’Loughlin
