A Newsletter for Radio Maria USA -- National
Calling all Angels! Our Blessed Mother calls on her Army of Angels to promote RM
First of all, let me thank you all for being an active and essential listener, an enthusiastic tireless volunteer and a loyal donor. You have been a precious resource for Radio Maria throughout the 16 years we have been on the air and with your help, we are happy to say we are present in Louisiana, Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Mis-sissippi and now Florida!
As you can see, we have accom-plished so much at Radio Maria, but
it is time to do more! We need more dedicated volunteers to help strength-en our presence in each of the listening areas. We need volunteers to help us reach new parishes, local institutions and potential donors in your area.
Our ultiimate goal is to bring the messages of Our Blessed Mother to the world. To do this, we need the sup-port of her Army of Angels.
We need leaders -- local ambassa-dors -- who can lead this process and
with whom we can build our future. We need Angels for Radio Maria to help us fulfill our vision. Will you join Our Blessed Mother’s Army of Angels?
If you think this is something you could do, please contact us by phone (888-408-0201) or email ([email protected]), by Friday, Sept. 30.
After we hear from you, we will contact you about how we can work to-gether for Our Blessed Mother. -- Carlo DiMaggio, RM President

July 25, 2016Message to Marija
“Dear children! I am looking at you and I see you lost; and you do not have prayer or joy in your heart. Return to prayer, lit-tle children, and put God in the first place and not man. Do not lose the hope which I am carry-ing to you. May this time, little children, every day, be a greater seeking of God in the silence of your heart; and pray, pray, pray until prayer becomes joy for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
August 2, 2016 Message to Marijana
“Dear children, I have come to you - among you - for you to give me your concerns so that I may offer them to my Son; that I may intercede for you before Him for your good. I know that each of you has his concerns, his trials. Therefore I am inviting you in a motherly way: come to the table of my Son. He is breaking bread for you; He is giving Himself to you; He is giving you hope; He is asking for more faith, hope and serenity from you. He is seek-ing of you to battle within against egoism, judgement and human weaknesses.
Therefore, as a mother, I am saying: pray; because prayer gives you strength for the interior battle. My Son, when He was lit-tle, often said to me that there will be many who will love me and call me ‘mother’. Among you, I feel love. Thank you. For the sake of that love I am imploring my Son that none of you, my children, will return home the same as he came; that you may take with you all the more hope, mercy and love; that you may be my apos-tles of love who will witness with

their lives that the Heavenly Fa-ther is the source of life and not of death. Dear children, anew, in a motherly way I am imploring you, pray for the chosen ones of my Son, for their blessed hands - for your shepherds - that they may preach my Son with all the more love and in this way bring about conversions. Thank you.”
August 25, 2016Message to Marija
“Dear children! Today I desire to share Heavenly joy with you. You, little children, open the door of your heart so that hope, peace and love, which only God gives, may grow in your heart.
Little children, you are too bound to the earth and earthly things, that is why, Satan is rolling you like the wind rolls the waves of the sea. Therefore, may the chain of your life be prayer with the heart and Adoration of my Son Jesus. Give over your future to Him so that, in Him, you may be joy and an example with your lives to others. Thank you for hav-ing responded to my call. ”

Historic flood: Faith keeps Louisiana going strongMeteorologists are call-
ing it the “1,000-year flood” after more than 31 inches of rain fell in 56 hours in the Ba-ton Rouge-Denham Springs area August 12-13.
The historic flood forced the evacuation of more than 70,000 people and de-stroyed more than 60,000 homes. Twelve people died.
United in faith from all denominations, the people of Louisiana put aside their own losses and worked tire-lessly from the start to help others in need.
Most of the flooding oc-curred in Baton Rouge and Denham Springs, but two
Radio Maria affiliates located 45 minutes down I-20, were in the wake of the flooding as well.
THE CAJUN NAVY. Without any direction from anyone (except maybe Our Blessed Mother), the Cajun Navy, ordinary people who live and work in South Louisiana, grabbed their aluminum fishing boats and began res-cuing their neighbors immediately after the water started rising. Most of the rescuers had lost their own homes, but were still out helping others. More than 70,000 people were forced from their homes.
BISHOP ROBERT MUENCH, of the Diocese of Baton Rouge visited three temporary shelters in the Baton Rouge area where more than 70,000 people were forced to evacuate.
LET THE CLEAN-UP BEGIN! As fast as the waters rose, they receeded. Now comes the clean up inside the homes.
ANIMAL RESCUES. An estimated 2,000 animals were rescued from the flood waters. Volunteers have been feeding and sheltering the animals until their owners are found.
However, Carolyn Ab-dulla, from the Holy Trinity Catholic Resource Center in New Iberia, said neither Ra-dio Maria affiliates sustained any damage due to water.
“We were lucky,” she said. “The water rose in many homes around us, but we remained high and dry.” Radio Maria continues to broadcast 24/7 bringing prayer, hope and help to the flood victims.
Relief efforts continue in the Diocese of Alexandria, home of KJMJ.
To donate online, go to www.diocesealex.org. All donations will be sent to the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
Join us as we pray for our Radio Maria Family in Louisiana as they recover from this devastating flood.
Jesus I Trust in You! Mary take over!

FEEDBACK. . . from our listeners
“I have made numerous Cursillos, TEC and REC weekends, Mar-riage Enncounter and 40+ years in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and never have I found the “pearl of great price” as there is in Living In God’s Divine Will. Thank you for Father Robert Young’s teachings on Radio Maria.” -- Barb, Duluth, MN
“I love the programs, music, prayers and Mass on Radio Maria. But sometimes it fades in and out as I drive into town. I am thankful that I can pick it up most of the time. Know that with this small donation, comes my gratitude and prayers.” -- Mrs. E.P.
“Thank you especially for the Rosa-ry and Lauds. I join in each morn-ing on my way to work.” -- Dan C.
“Thank you everyone at Radio Ma-ria. I love your programming. God bless each and everyone.” -- Judy, Lafayette, LA.
“Keep up the good work, Radio Ma-ria! I’m praying that you get finan-cial help. Thank you for all of your sacrifices.” -- Clara K.
“I want you all to know that I have been sending money in the mail for many years. I am now retired and me and my wife live on a fixed in-come. We give what we can and I try to talk to people about Radio Maria.” -- Love as a family
Welcome Miami -- to Radio Maria Radio Maria opens new station in Miami Aug. 13
WMIA 91.9 FM HD3. Radio Maria welcomes WMIA in Miami to the World Family of Radio Maria. The new frequency went on the air Aug. 13 as a low-frequency high-definition (HD) signal. According to John Tumminello, RM board member, the frequency is only available on HD radios. Members of the Miami volunteer staff are (from left) Eva Cordova, Juan Car-los Castaneda, Deborah and John Tumminello from Alexandria, and Carlos Alberto Velez.
CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PRAY ON RADIO MARIA. Religion teacher Tim O’Loughlin, from Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School in Dayton, Ohio leads the students in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the Rosary, and a Divine Mercy Litany on the fourth Monday of each month 4 pm ET/ 3 pm CT. “All prayer is good, but this prayer group is special to me,” said O’Loughlin. “We’re not only praying as individuals, but we’re also praying as a CJ family, and we’re praying with one million Radio Maria listeners worldwide. How cool is that?”
