My Inspiratio
CRAFT: I made this picture using the Illustrator prgram. To create this picture, I tracedthe original pictu
to give it that cartoon effect. I used the pen tool to dra
the different shapes in the picture. i then used the eye
dropper tool to take the color of that specic spot.

This is my nal piece for the project. When I had nish
this piece I decided to title it A Mothers Inspiration. I
titled it this way because my son is a huge part of my li
now and if it wasnt for him I wouldnt be where I am
today. Everything I do is for me and him.
COMPOSITION: I am trying to control theviewers eye by having them being able to see the fore-
ground rst, which is my face. The second part I would
like the viewer to see is the middle ground, which is my
ons face. The last thing they will see is the backgroundobviously. When the viewer sees this piece they are mo
likely going to think that he is my brother. the last thing
that they will think is that he is my son. I want them to g
into a deeper thought after they read what my title is. th
they will understand.

The Eyes of The TigerTake a Look
CRAFT:I made thispicture using the Photoshop
program. To make this pic-
ture, I chose two different
pictures.
CONCEPT: . I madethis for the assignment of
Collaging. We were chal-
lenged to create a collage
using atleast two pictures
and put them together in a
unique way. When I had n-
ished this piece I decided to
title it The Eyes of the Tiger.
I titled it this way because
of they way the picture has
you focus on only the eyes
of the tiger.
COMPOSITION:I am trying to control the
viewers eye by having
them being able to see the
foreground rst, which is
the tree.The last thing they
will see is the background,
which is the tiger. When the
viewer sees this piece I want
them to think about what it
really means.

Step Three
The rst thing I did was choose a back-
ground out of other images given to me.
I then made a background copy layer to
work on.
The second thing that I did was
choose another photo, which is of a
tigers eyes, and changed the opacity
of the image a little.
The third thing that I did was change
the hue and saturation on the image to
give it a totally different look.
Final
Step Four
The fourth thing that I had done was add a tree into th
middle of the picture. I added the tree to give it a in
wild feel.
The nal thing that i did was change the ohue and satur
tion again so that the tree would sort of blend in with ey
of the tiger.

FierceElegance
CRAFT:I made this picture using the Photoshop program. To createthis picture, I chose four pictures to create a collage. I wanted to create
something that would grab the views eye right away. I used different
adjusment layers to create this stormy effect.
CONCEPT: I made this for the assignment of Collaging. We werechallenged to create a collage using 4 or more different pictures. This is
my nal piece for the project. When I had nished this piece I decided to
title it Fierce Elegance. I titled it this way because many poeple think of
butteries as being elegant and peaceful. When I look at this piece it is
erce because of the added lightening to make it seem as if the buttery
was caught in the storm.
COMPOSITION:I am trying to control the viewers eye byhaving them being able to see the foreground rst, which is the butter -
y. The second part I would like the viewer to see is the middle ground,
whch is the lightening and the moon.. The last thing they will see is the
background, obviously. When the viewer sees this picture, I want them to
see that there is always some beauty inside of a storm. I want them to go
into a deeper thought after they read what my title is.

The Second Step I took was chose a
second picture, in this case the buttery,
and I placed in right in the middle of
the page so it would be the center of
attention.
The First Step I did was choose a
brackground that I wanted to work with
and made a background copy layer to
work on.
The third step i did was took a
picture of lightening and put the
layer that it was on behind the
buttery layer.
STEP ONE
STEP TWO
STEP THREE
The Fourth Step was to take the picture of
the moon and place it in the top left corner,
behind the buttery and lightening layers. To
make the moon appear a little transparent I
changed each color mode. One color mode
was liner burn and the other was multiply.
The Fifth Step was to make everything behind
the buttery black and white. in order to do this,
I made a black and white adjustment layer and
apllied it to eveything under the buttery.
The last and nal step was to apply a hue/
saturation adjustment layer. This adjustment
layer allowed me to change the color of the
buttery.

Step One:
The rst thing I did was startwith this self portrait of
elisabeth louise vigee lebrun. In photoshop, I made a
background copy layer. the objective of this assignment
was to place my face into the current picture.
Step Two:
The secound thing that I did was made a layer mask on
her face in the background copy layer. After doing so, I
placed my face where her face once was.
Step Three:
The third thing I did was add a pattern ll to the laye
mask. I did this in oreder to blend my face with the
actual pattern of the original picture.
Final:
The nal step that I did was added a color balance to
brighten my face a little bit. Changing the curves al-
lowed me to change the color even more to t the actual
color of the picture.

Kyra T
CRAFT: I made this picture using the Illustrator program. To create thispicture, I use a Wacom Tablet and the pen to go along with it. to create this
picture, I used 100 strokes of line to create the look of a wine glass.
CONCEPT: I made this for the assignment of 100 strokes of line.We were challenged to create a picture using only 100 strokes.
COMPOSITION:I am trying to control the viewers eye by hav-ing them look at the bottom of the wine glass rst and then begin to make
their way up to the top of it. By looking at this piece the viewer will not
know what it is at rst but as you study the pictures and the title to go along
with it you will then begin to understand what it is. Even though it is only a
100 stroke drawing there is much more to this piece then meets the eye. By
examining this picture you wont be able to tell that it was drawn intention-
ally to be only 100 strokes of line.

CRAFT: I made this using my hand to create 100 strokes of line tocreate the effect of it being a water bottle. The tools I used to create this
piece was a wacom tablet and the pen to go along with it.
CONCEPT: This image is a drawing of a water bottle. I made thisfor an assignment that challenged us to create an image, from still life,
using only 100 strokes. When I nished drawing this I decided to title
this piece Lines of Water. I came up with this name, not to give the literal
meaning that it is a water bottle, but to get the view thinking of reasons
why I named it this. I gave it this title because the piece is mad of line so
i wanted to incorporate the word line into the title.
COMPOSITION:I am trying to control the viewers eye byhaving them look at the bottom of the water bottle rst and then begin
to make their way up to the top of it. By looking at this piece the viewer
will not know what it is at rst but as you study the pictures and the title
