ABOUT OUR SCHOOL & CLASS:
Our school’s stand for VALUES like:
OUR CLASS is strongly united - we get along well and we have each others` backs.
WE’D LIKE TO PRESENT YOU WHAT WE’VE WORKED ON SO FAR SINCE DECEMBER
After Hungary, we studied the materials on SELF-DISCIPLINE and
INTEGRITY
Each of us had to keep a DIARY on something that we wanted to
change/improve about ourselves
... of course, some classmates chose to remain the same
CLIP ACTIVITIES
PROJECT 1
We had a Christmas Fair in December where Christmas cards and other crafts were sold (we handmade them). The money earned from this will be donated to charities that will be decided by the Student’s Council.

PROJECT 2
THE EXERCISE FIRMAfter the December Succes of the
Christmas Fair, we decided to expand the idea into a SPRING FAIR in March. Thus, we now have the exercise firm
called “SIMPLE STUFF”The next target is to make Martisoare (we’ll tell you later what these are),
Bracelets and Earrings.
VALUES OF OUR SCHOOL
Over the past years, our school has gotten well known for its implication in European projects
(Comenius and Leonardo) and for its perseverance in fighting “The Green Fight” to try and make our city (and even country) cleaner and more environmentally-friendly. From planting trees to petitioning for the
cleaning and rebuilding the banks of a local river.
We’ve done it all!
After asking around we realized everyone values the same things in our school: education, family & relationships, creativity, opportunity and friendship. Even the teachers are like older and much wiser friends to us, the students.
Got a good idea? Ask any teacher or one of the principals and if it’s a really good one they’re definitely going to help you make the best of it.
Our class, the XI-th B is definitely the coolest class ever. The most tightly-knit group you could ever imagine. Our supervising teacher, Mrs Anton Alina helped in uniting us and always makes sure she and, also we, have each others’ backs no matter what.
Everyone in our class is especially good at something. We have people who are simply amazing at Sports, Chemistry, French and English, even Math.
Out of everything, we value each other the most. We’re like a numerous family.
We treat each other with respect, compassion and we make damn sure if one of us is in trouble the others help out.
ABOUT INTEGRITY AND VALUES
On the 20th of January 2014 a small aircraft carrying seven people, the pilot and co-pilot, four highly renowned doctors and a medical intern, crashed in the Apuseni Mountains, in a snowed-in area. This being at an altitude of 1400m, help was far from “on it’s way.” The victims called the 112 Emergency number but their location could not be established so they spent ___ hours in freezing cold and critically hurt.
Sadly, the pilot, regarded as one of the best pilots in our country and the medical intern, a student who was a volunteer, both died before anyone else got there.
Still, there were 3 locals that didn’t give up and aided in the rescues. They were later awarded the title of Honorary Citizens for their determination
and compassion.WE MADE A CLASS SURVEY TO SEE WHICH
VALUES WERE REQUIRED IN THIS SITUATIONEthics
Accountability
CapabilityAccuracy
BoldnessAgility
AlertnessSelf-sacrifice
AltruismBenevolence
AmbitionHeroism
ASK YOURSELVES. WHAT IF YOU WERE IN THAT POLICEMAN’S PLACE AND THAT KID HAD ASKED YOU TO TIE HIS SHOE UP?
Would you do it?
THANK YOU!!!
