B 41671-1 red 1-3/8(6) 4-1/2” x 42” strips, then sew strips via short ends. Subcut strip (2) at 52-1/2” and (2) at 62-1/2”.(7) 2-1/2” x 42” for binding, then sew via short ends.

C 41677-3 navy 1/4 (5) 1-1/2" x 42" strips, then sew strips via short ends. Subcut strip (2) at 44-1/2” and (2) at 60-1/2”.

D 41678-6 gold 1-5/8

(8) 3” x 42” strips; subcut into (39) 3” x 7-3/4” strips.(9) 3” x 42” strips, then sew strips via short ends. Subcut strip as follows: (1) 3” x 20” strip. (1) 3” x 32-1/4” strip. (1) 3” x 39-1/2” strip. (1) 3” x 51-3/4” strip. (1) 3” x 59” strip. (1) 3” x 68-3/4” strip. (1) 3” x 71-1/4” strip.

QUILT TOP ASSEMBLY: Refer to the Quilt Top Diagram1. Sew together (35) A fussy cut 7-3/4” squares and (39) D 3” x 7-3/4”strips into (8) diagonal rows as shown in Quilt Top Diagram below and the Digital Quilt Image on the front cover. Press seams toward the squares.

2. Sew the (7) assorted D 3” sashing strips between the rows, as shown in diagram.

3. Center quilt top and trim it to 42-1/2” x 60-1/2, as shown in Trimming Diagram.

BORDER ASSEMBLY: Refer to the Quilt Diagram

4. Sew (1) C 1-1/2” x 60-1/2” strip to long sides of quilt top, then sew (1) C 1-1/2” x 44-1/2” strip to top and bottom of quilt top.

5. Sew (1) B 4-1/2” x 62-1/2” strip to long sides of quilt top, then sew (1) B 1-1/2” x 52-1/2” strip to top and bottom of quilt top.

FINISHING: Layer quilt top, batting and backing together to form quilt sandwich. Baste and quilt as desired. Bind using B 2-1/2” strips.
