April 8-9 Empowered to Connect: Faces of Children is hosting this two-day simul-cast conference for adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders and professionals in our community. Led by Dr. Karyn Purvis (Director of the TCU Institute of Child Development), this event helps parents and profes-sionals understand the need of children from hard places and the impact of trauma. It will also present an overview of attachment research and sensory processing, as well as insights and tools for promoting connec-tion and healing. April 24 Annie Dieselberg, co-founder of NightLight International will be preaching in all 3 Sunday worship services.

April 25 NightLight International: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Lynn Hall, hosted by Faces of Children. From Awareness to Action human tra�cking is as pervasive as it is often hidden. We can help shine a light in the shadows and save lives. Join us as Annie Dieselberg and Natalie Shirley, co-found-ers of NightLight International, share from their experience working with tra�cking victims. Learn how to protect your loved ones, what to do if you suspect someone is being tra�cked, and the fundamentals for starting a local community response program to support victims. Night-Light International works in Thailand and the USA with women and children whose lives are negatively impacted by sex tra�cking and commercial sexual exploitation. Please join us for lunch.
