A long weekend in Cancun

Last month I went a weekend with some friends to Cancun, I really wasn’t planned to make that trip, it was all thanks that we won

some free stuff airline tickets, We were lucky.

We stayed in a hotel near of the beach, it was very nice, only it was far from the city, but it has everything you need to not leave the hotel, like restaurants, bars and shop for clothes, souvenirs, among other things, the advantage of be in that hotel was that by paying your room included all food and drink that you wanted.

After we installed in the hotel, we took our towels, bathing suits, suntan lotion and

sandals, we went to the beach.

There had beach chairs with umbrellas, where we could get sunny, unfortunately

one of my friend get sunburned a lot, because she fell asleep in the sun.

There we played volleyball men against women, unfortunately we lost.

After we went to swim, but the waves were rather large and we couldn’t swim very well, some of my friends were hit by the waves.

So we decided to take a tour to Xcaret is an eco-archaeological park which was a Mayan port and ceremonial centers there exists an underground river, traces of archaeological sites, coral reef aquariums, fish tanks of sharks and dolphins display, bat caves, among other places.

In that place is to stay all day, but as we arrived a bit late, we decided to separate into two groups and each group visited the place that most like to see.

The first group went to swim with sharks; they told me that was great because they could touch them.

The truth is that I would have liked to go with them, but I chose to go with the second group to the reefs Snuba is a mix of diving and snorkeling, there we descended seven meters under the sea with a mask, fins and weight belt, it was really beautiful to see the colorful fish, corals and turtles, it's amazing what you can see into the sea.

That day we ended tired, so we returned to the hotel to rest and get out at night to “The Coco bongo ”, I didn´t want to go because it was very expensive and I had preferred to spend my money in another tour for the morning, but the ultimately they convinced me.

I never really had gone to the bar and the truth I was very impressed because it´s not like typical bar , it´s so different because there are performances with dancers and make a sort of contortion, it was worth paying both.

When we left “The Coco bongo”, we wanted to go to the beach and watch the sunrise, the truth it was the first time that I saw a sunrise on the beach.

That day we were sleepless, but we were missing an important point to know “Chichen Itza”, so we left the hotel that morning, the trip was a little long, but it was worth¡ really beautiful and impressive.

Cancun has the most beautiful beaches in Mexico.
