We have been able to contact over90 organisations, societies and clubs involved in a wide range ofleisure activities, who all welcome people over 50 years to jointhem. In addition to these clubs, theDistrict’s Leisure Development Team has started a new programmeof ‘taster activities’ from flower arranging to glass painting. Three Rivers District Counciloffer assistance to appropriatelyconstituted local groups,organisations and clubs thatprovide a range of communityservices and leisureopportunities to residents of theThree Rivers District. Grantscan be used to purchaseequipment, produce informationor publicity leaflets, to extendservices offered etc.
