The aim of this handbook is to provide a useful guide to help you navigate your way around Gett’s online booking platform and app.

If anything remains unclear please contact your account manager for further support.

Quick, easy and able to book on behalf of others

Quick, easy and enables booking and editing of rides individually even if booked by someone else

Telephone bookings

Only recommended for journeys which may be more complicated and require further attention. Please remember you will need your Account ID to make a telephone booking.

find your account ID

log into the online portal

Go to Gett’s website and click the log-in tab located in the top right hand corner.

Type your Gett login details - you are now ready to book taxis.

Your account ID is displayed next to your company name on the booking page. Your main account address is also displayed here.

book on behalf of another registered user

1. Type the passenger’s name or phone number (for international numbers please drop 00 and input area code followed by the passengers number e.g. for the UK: 447XXXXXXXXX)

2. Enter the ride details as usual – pick up address, destination, date and time

3. Select a payment method

4. Enter a reference, you may have more than one reference field dependent upon your company e.g. cost centre

5. Add a message to driver if required e.g. large suitcase SMS notifications about the ride will be sent to the passenger’s mobile once booked

book on behalf of a non registered user

1. Type the passenger’s name and phone number (for international numbers please drop 00 and input area code followed by the passengers number e.g. for the UK: 447XXXXXXXXX)

2. Enter the ride details as usual – pick up address, destination, date and time

3. For Payment Method: • Select Account if you wish the ride to be paid on Account • Select Cash/Credit Card if you wish the passenger to pay for the ride • The passenger can pay by credit card by calling Customer Care 0207 788 8987 once the ride is finished

Once you have logged into the online portal different tab options will appear. See below.

Please select admin or user depending on who is to be added.

Once you have selected ‘user’ or ‘admin’, an option to add new employee or add administrator will appear.

Select whichever is appropriate and enter details of new entries, paying particular attention to email address and phone number

If a user has an assistant e.g. a PA associated to them, ensure this is captured from the drop down list which is populated from the admin staff list.

To complete the addition please select ‘Send Invite’ for the user to be able to download the app.

Finally to complete any new adminstrator please add a username and password.

5. Follow credit card set up instructions and then you are ready to order

1. Go to Gett’s website and log in with your details

2. Click on the User tab

3. Find your executives and click ‘edit’

Reports will enable access to details of previous rides and this information can be extracted as a CSV file by selecting export.

To access reports:

1. Select ‘Reports’ in the tab options

2. Under display, select to view reports by passenger name, reference code, department, or all.

3. Depending on display type selected please search by options available

4. Input date range required

5. Export or view summary

There are 3 main ways to download the Gett app:

NB: A user must be registered to your business account to be able to make business rides.

You will receive an SMS with a validation code.Enter this code to proceed

Select ‘Business’ or ‘Private’

You can book for ‘now’ or pre-book a taxi by selecting ‘book a future ride’

The app will locate you a taxi

Once accepted by a Gett driver, their details and live estimate time of arrival will be visible

At the end of the ride, you can rate your driver and see the route taken

When booking your cab note the payment type section

You’ll see your registered cards and other payment types allowed. Choose the card you would like to use to pay for this ride

The last card used will be registered as “default”. Just select the card you wish to charge

switch between business and private rides

Heathrow: Meeting Points are the pre-booked ranks

T2From Arrivals take the centre exit > cross the zebra crossing > go under the shelter >down a few steps > the pre booked taxi rank is on the right > it is a two bay rank for two taxis

T3Exit arrivals > take the main exit and follow signs to the taxi rank > to the left of the taxi rank is the pre booked taxi rank > it is a two bay rank for two taxis

T4Exit arrivals take the main exit > follow the signs to the taxi rank > approximately 100 yards to the right > in the right hand corner is the pre booked taxi rank > it is a two bay rank for two taxis

T5Go to Departures on the 1st level > Turn left out of exit > Opposite 1st & business class you will find the pre booked taxi rank on your right > it is a two bay rank for two taxis

Gatwick

The driver is able to meet and greet if requested.

Or the driver may call the passenger on arrival and drive to Departures to collect. Parked taxis cannot be left unattended at any time at Gatwick.

City Airport

Wait in Arrivals, the driver will park in the short term car park and walk to Arrivals to meet passenger, the minimum charge for the short term car park is £5.60.

Or the driver may wait at the front of the rank until they have made contact with their passenger and drive to Arrivals to pick up.
