PRINCE2 (an acronym for Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a de facto process-based method for effective project management.

PRINCE2 ® Foundat ionFoundation level is an introduction to the PRINCE2 themes and processes. Created for those organisations and individuals who use PRINCE2, but recognise the benefits of applying agile methods, it provides guidance on how to practically apply both PRINCE2 and agile; thus, reducing conflict so that you can benefit from the best of both worlds.

MSP ® Foundat ion and Pract i t ionerManaging Successful Programmes (MSP) is a proven best-practice programme management framework, designed for successfully delivering large-scale, transformational change through a dossier of related projects and activities. The Foundation level helps learners understand how their role fits into the wider business, while the Practitioner level demonstrates how to apply the MSP framework and contribute more effectively to the realisation of strategically-aligned benefits.

Project Management Professional (PMP) is an industry-recognised certification for project managers. Globally-recognised, the PMP credential demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to successfully lead and direct projects.

APMG-Internat ional PPS™The professional Programme and Project Sponsorship (PPS) certification has been developed specifically for senior responsible owners (SROs) and sponsors or executives of programmes and projects. It is based on best-practice management guidance such as PRINCE2 and MSP, and combines leadership ability with PPM skills. This programme has been developed to provide a clear understanding of what is required in the key role of programme or project sponsor.

APMG-Internat ional Agi lePM™ Foundat ionThe APMG-International AgilePM® certification aims to address the needs of those working in a project-focused environment who want to be agile. Developed in partnership with DSDM Consortium, it offers a practical and repeatable methodology that achieves an ideal balance between the standards, rigour and visibility required for good project management; and the fast pace, change and empowerment provided by agile.

APMG Internat ional Change Management™ Foundat ionChange Management is associated with the effects and management of change; this is primarily within organisations where change can have greater impact. This qualification is based on the theory and application of change for the individual, change for the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement, and change management best practice.

APMG Internat ional F inance for Non-Financia l Managers™This course provides the necessary financial literacy and business acumen needed in modern business. Every manager needs to understand finance if they are to play an effective role in helping their organisation achieve its objectives. However, not every manager needs the same level of skill and understanding as specialist financial managers. A good knowledge of the key concepts of prudent financial management should equip all managers with the knowledge they require.

Software Test ing Foundat ion - ISTQB - BCS Cer t i f ied TesterIn partnership with the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB®) this is a comprehensive software testing programme. Candidates will follow defined learning objectives as laid out in the syllabus to remember, understand, apply and analyse the basic concepts of software testing. Principally aimed at anyone involved in software testing, it will also be of interest to project managers, quality managers, business analysts and IT directors or management consultants.

Software Test ing IntermediateThis certification has a more practical approach to the core software testing material covered at Foundation level. Candidates will focus on testing fundamentals including principles, types, management, analysis and other aspects up to level K4 of the learning objectives. This level is for candidates involved in any aspect of software testing or those looking for a more practical approach to core software testing knowledge.

Better Business Cases (BBC)According to recent research, many projects commence with an optimistic business case which is often poorly written. This results in organisations spending money that may not give them the return they expect or want. Better Business Cases is a systematic and objective approach to all stages of the business case development process.

Business Analys is The Business Analysis Foundation e-learning covers one of four modules required to gain the International Diploma in Business Analysis. It is aimed at those who want to understand business analysis, support change and improve their organisation’s processes.

W H AT A R E M Y E X A M O P T I O N S ?

Once you’ve finished your e-learning, you’ll be ready to take the exam and earn that accreditation. There are three ways you can take an exam:

aOnline exams: this is often the preferred method, as you can take the exams on your own computer via remote proctor, at a time that’s convenient to you — all you need is a webcam.

aPublic schedule exams: you can join us for an exam day that takes place in a physical classroom – to book an exam of this type please email contactus@ilxgroup.com

aIn-house exams: if there are enough people ready to take exams, we can either schedule an invigilator to come into your offices or accredit an in-house invigilator at your organisation to invigilate your exams. To book an exam of this type please speak to your account manager.

W H AT ’ S T H E P R O C E S S F O R B O O K I N G A N E X A M ?

When you are ready to sit the exam for your course, you will need to book and pay for the exam. As a corporate client, you will need to do the following:

1. Visit www.ilxgroup.com and locate the ‘book an exam’ button inside the ‘support’ bar at the top of the webpage2. When asked how your course was purchased, choose the ‘my company bought it’ option3. Fill out the form that follows, making sure you provide your company name. In the ‘queries’ box, please specify what

exam you are paying for, and how you would like to pay (i.e. is your company paying for the exam, or are you paying with a personal credit or debit card)

4. You will then be contacted by us within 24 hours to take payment from you - Please note, if your company is paying for your exam, you will need to provide a purchase order as reference
