A Guide to

Residential Property

Investment

When it comes to

investment, few things yield surer,

better results than property

investment. It is an investment

vehicle, however, that has more

than one option for investors that

will be beneficial.

There are two options that are

equally viable for investors to put

their money in and let it grow.

These are residential and

commercial properties.

Residential Property

Investment

Residential property is

one of the finest investment

vehicles for any investor to

venture out on. There is

always a steady stream of

people who will need to rent

living space. This makes it one

of the most stable sources of

income for anyone with an

entrepreneurial spirit.

That being said, it is an investment that comes with its own fair share of risks. For instance, there

is always the possibility of having bad tenants. Interest rates could fly, and house prices can stagnate or

even drop depending on the location.

Commercial Property Investment

Most of the time, people automatically think of residential real estate when looking for property

investment options without even giving commercial properties a passing thought. The truth is, though,

that commercial property has the same potential, if not more, as residential property. It is a growing

sector in the investment game and more and more Australians are seeing its potential.

While it may be argued that the commercial market is more difficult to handle than the residential

market, few can deny its potential for high returns of investment.

As the rudimentary principles of investment go, investors should never put all of their eggs in one

basket. It may be worthwhile to diversify one’s investment portfolio by mixing things up and taking part

in both residential and commercial property investment schemes. Investors may consult companies like

The Sentinel Property Group to learn more about the most viable property investment options.
