Demeter was the goddess of agriculture and fertility in Greek mythology. She was associated especially with grain that grows on earth. She had a daughter called Persephone.
PERSEPHONE
Persephone was a beautiful goddess in Greek mythology. She was the daughter of Demeter and Zeus. After being seized by Hades, she became his wife in the underworld.
HADES
Hades was the god of the dead in Greek mythology. He ruled the kingdom of the dead, which was believed to be beneath the earth.
You may be surprised that Hades was the older brother of Zeus.
APOLLO
Apollo was a major god in Greek mythology, associated with archery, healing, music, poetry, prophecy, purification, and seafaring. Representing light, he was also considered as
the god of the sun. He was one of Zeus’s numerous sons.
