W E L C O M E T O V I N E & D I N E A T T H E G R E Y L I N E . And thank you for attending Ann Arbor Art Center’s signature fundraising soiree! Whether you are a long-time supporter of the Art Center or a brand new arts patron, I’m so glad you have joined us tonight to support Art Center programs and our Art For Everyone Fund.

It’s because of you, and your support, that we are able to accommodate the growing number of individuals who are eager to explore, discover, and experience the transformational – and even life-changing – potential of art.

The Art For Everyone Fund provides scholarships to youth ages 5-12 to attend summer day camp. At camp, they discover the joy of art, develop critical thinking skills, and stretch their imagination in a beautiful, safe and inclusive environment. The children who receive scholarships are from families with limited resources, and they would not be able to have this amazing summer experience without the support of you and other Vine & Dine attendees and Art Center donors. So, again, a huge thank you for advancing our mission to engage minds and inspire growth in students of all ages and abilities through the visual arts. We believe, as you do, that art is not an option. Everyone deserves to have art experiences and exercise their creative spirits.

If you would like to see your support in action, please let me know. I’d love to give you a tour, or show you the marvel and mayhem of summer camp at the Ann Arbor Art Center.

Marie

The mission of the Ann Arbor Art Center is to be a contemporary forum for the visual arts through education, exploration, and exhibition, and to expand perspectives and ignite growth in students, artists, and the community. In this work we aspire to be a gathering place that serves artists and the community in four distinct, yet related, ways: exhibition, retail, education, and community engagement.
