KEY QUALIFICATIONS
In his 15 years as a senior lecturer and Assistant Professor at University of Kordofan, Sudan
University of Science & Technology and University of Khartoum Dr. Abdelateif Hassan Ibrahim
has had articles published on several agricultural development issues that face Sudan. His work has
examined the agricultural finance, financial and economic analysis of different Agroforestry
systems and its impact on rural households’ livelihood. Researches on poverty, environmental
issues, food security and livestock development and marketing were also done by him. Dr.
Abdelateif has a lot of experiences in teaching as well as advanced knowledge and practice of
computer programming and applications. He also served as pilot project coordinator; a position that
required excellent management and coordination skills. He earned a Ph.D. in Microcredit and its
Impact on Poverty Alleviation” Non-separable Dynamic Model at the Justus Liebig University in
Giessen, Germany. Dr. Abdelateif fluent in Arabic and English, has good skills in German.
