MEMRAMCOOK HAS MANY GEMS TO UNCOVER, AND REDISCOVER WITH THE CHANGING OF THE SEASONS.
A COMMUNITY PROUD OF ITS HISTORY
Designated as the “cradle of new Acadia”, Memramcook boasts a rich history. A er the Great Deportation of 1755, many Acadians settled here. In fact, many of their descendants went on to establish other communities, contributing thus to Acadia’s survival.
The Monument-Lefebvre is a must-see as well as a great source of pride for the community. Discover a page of Acadian history by visiting the Acadian Odyssey Exhibit or by attending one of the shows at the Monument’s theatre known for its outstanding acoustics.

ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
An always popular and very enjoyable activity, picking your own apples and small fruits at one of our local producers: Les Petits Fruits de Pré-d’en-Haut and Verger Belliveau Orchard which houses the Pomiculture Economuseum.
In fact, the popular website The Culture Trip has designated the village as one of the 10 most beautiful villages in Canada.
Regardless of whether you are simply passing through on business or for pleasure, you will not be able to resist our village’s charm and its breathtaking natural beauty.
Let yourself be carried away by our picturesque landscapes (meadows, marshes, rivers, orchards, tidal bores); by our exceptional fauna and fl ora; and by our unique cultural and historical heritage.
Attend shows and various activities presented by the Société du Monument-Lefebvre; the Société culturelle de la Vallée de Memramcook or under the “Airs d’été de Beaumont” series held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaumont Chapel Provincial Historic Site.
And what more can be said about the legendary hospitality of Memramcook’s inhabitants, proud and welcoming people who created an unrivaled living environment.
