HOA Turnover Election Meeting Thursday, January 30 at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to transition control of the Association from the developer to the homeowners. At the

meeting, members will have the ability to elect an Initial Board of Directors and to conduct such other business as may properly

Bicycle Club ~ We continue to provide non-competitive friendly exercise to our residents. We meet at 10616 montrose Bay Avenue in the Venezia section for a fun ride on Monday and Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and ride along Lyons Road for about 10-15 miles round trip. We also ride at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday and meet at the Clubhouse for a fun evening ride at a moderate pace. Helmets and water are suggested. Board Games Club ~ Snowbirds and full-timers agree… an evening at Board Games Club meeting is always a lot of fun. Clubs3D Art Class ~ Stop by and see what all the excitement sis about at this amazing art form which requires no artistic ability. This three-hour class is offered on Fridays at 1 p.m. in the Arts & Crafts Room for only $15 per class. Tool & picture kits are available for purchase. Couples Dance Class ~ Sign up at the Box Office for a 5-week dance class starting on January 7 with Ellen and Don. Classes will start at 6:45 p.m. in the Aerobics Room every Tuesday and run for one hour. This class will teach Swing, merengue, Rumba, Tango, Swing and more! Drop checks for $65.00 per couple at the Box Office by January 3 to be a part of this fun class!

Beginner/Refresher Bridge Class ~ This class is offered by ACBL certified instructor marilyn Kroll on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and will resume this fall. The cost is $80 for six lessons with a minimum class of eight people. A beginner bridge book is available for $12.

Beginner/Refresher Poker & Pinochle ~ Valencia Reserve Resident Lou Orenstein teaches Poker and Pinochle for free. The classes are for beginners and those needing a refresher. Delicious Mah Jongg Babes ~ Learn this traditional game that is a favorite at Valencia Reserve or brush up on your skills. The class meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Card Room 1. Spanish Class ~ Join us every Monday in the Demonstartion Kitchen at 7 p.m. to learn this popular, language. Although we have covered the first several chapters in the Spanish One Book so far, I would strongly encourage other Valencia Reserve Residents with very minimal Spanish in their background to take advantage of this opportunity in the clubhouse and join the group.

Tap Dance Class ~ Join us for a great way to exercise and learn this fun form of dancing! Our terrific instructor, Jessica, from the West Side Dance studio teaches every Friday at 2 p.m. in the Social Hall. TOTAL HEALTH SYSTEMSBody Sculpting ~ This class is a total body workout using weights, resistance bands, and body bars. This class is offered every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in the Aerobics Room.

Cardio Tone (formerly 20/20/20) ~ This class features 20 minutes of low impact cardio to elevate yor heart rate and burn calories, 20 minutes of strength and balance work and 20 minutes of strength and stretching. High energy, calorie burning, muscle toning! Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. in the Aerobics Room.

Exercise Lite ~ Join us every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Aerobics Room and Yoga Studio to increase balance, core strength and stability using weights, bands and a weighted ball. Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

Pilates ~ named after its creator, the method focuses on strength, stretching, stability and stamina. It is designed for people who want to increase core strength and take control of their health. you will notice increased flexibility and stamina resulting in slender thighs, a flat abdomen and toned arms. Classes are every Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the Aerobics Room.

Soul Line Dancing ~ Choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps done in a line to motown and current hits. Classes are every Monday at 8 a.m. in the Aerobics Room.

Tai Chi ~ moving motion to balance body, mind and spirit. Strenghten your immune system, reduce anxiety and improve your digestive system. Classes are held every Wednesday at 8 a.m. in the Yoga Studio.

Water Aerobics ~ Increase balance, flexibility and range of motion safely while improving your cardiovascular system using a noodle & water weights. Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the pool.

Yoga ~ yoga is a gentle way of moving and breathing to increase energy, balance, focus and relaxation. The untraditional postures include standing, sitting and lying down. This class is offered on Monday mornings at 9:10 a.m. in the Yoga Studio.

Yoga Lite ~ This beginners version of yoga starts this month by popular request! Learn the names of the poses and how to control the balance of your body. Classes are held every Monday at 9:10 a.m. in the Aerobics Room.

Zumba ~ A fusion of Latin and International music/dance themes create a fun, dynamic and effective fitness class. Zumba combines easy-to-follow dance steps with fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Classes are held every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and every Friday at 8 a.m. in the Aerobics Room.

Citizens Observer Patrol Join us on Friday, December 20, at 3 p.m. in the Social Hall for an informative meeting on this important program which helps keeps our community safe. major Steve Tamber will discuss the benefits of the program in the community and what you can do to be the eyes & ears throughout unincorporated Palm Beach County.
