Glenn Warren Jones, Sr., was born September 12, 1949 to thelate Elmer, Sr. and Vivian M. Jones in Newark, NJ.

Glenn was raised and educated in Newark, NJ and laterrelocated to Washington, DC. Glenn served in the US Armyand was employed for many years with BeltwayTransportation located in Forestville, MD.

Until Glenn became disabled in 2004 by a massive stroke, heloved his hobbies, music, dancing and riding his motorcycle,just to name a few. Let us not fail to mention Glenn was a diehard Washington Redskins fan. (Let’s Hear It!)

On July 28, 2014 after a brief battle with lung cancer, Godwith His infinite wisdom called Glenn home.

Glenn leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his wife,Thomasina Jones, (MD); one daughter, Latronia Sanders,(NJ); five sons, Glenn Jones, Jr., (NJ), Darryl and Dion Jones,Eric and Kevin McKinley, all of (DC); five brothers, Milton I.Jones, (MD), Lawrence A. Jones, (DC) Bruce M. Jones, DarrylR. Jones and Mark K. Jones all from NJ. Glenn also leavesVivian Jones that was dear to his heart, a best friend, CurtisSpruielle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Glenn was predeceased by one sister, Gayle Nimaly and fourbrothers, Elmer W., James E., Ronald W. and Brian M. Jones.
