Yes on A:Repair Repairs and enhances the city’s deteriorat-

ing emergency firefighting water system, so that in the event of a major earthquake, our fire fighters have sufficient water to put out fires across the city.

Upgrade Seismically upgrades our neighborhood fire-

houses and police stations so first respond-ers can act rapidly when they are needed most.

Improve Improves and relocates the crime lab, motor-

cycle police, and medical examiner facilities so these essential personnel are able to operate efficiently and effectively during a citywide disaster response.

Proposition A Makes San Francisco Prepared After the 1906 earthquake and the devastating fires that followed, the citizens of San Francisco built one of the world’s best water supply net-works. More than 100 years later, this system of underground cisterns, reservoirs and tanks is deteriorating. Proposition A will modernize and upgrade this infrastructure so we will be prepared for a major earthquake or fire for the next 100 years.

Prop A UpgradesCritical Infrastructure

WITHOUT Raising Taxes

The 2014 Mission Bay Fire made it very clear why being prepared is critical. Scientists say a major earthquake is likely to hit San Francisco in the next few decades. Prop A will help San Francisco respond and recover quickly – reducing the number of injuries and deaths and speeding the city’s economic recovery.
