While walking home, the childreneat their lollipops.

Today is a special day!It is Gogo Maria’s birthday.The whole family comes togetherfor a big braai.

While Mama and Babe Nkosi arecooking, Mama Nkosi says: “Ohno! There are a few ingredientsmissing!”

Yay, we have R6 left! One lollipopcosts R2.

“How many lollipops can webuy?”

“If we have R6 left and onelollipop costs R2, we can buy 3lollipops!

Now the children know howmuch it costs.“But how much money do wehave left for sweets?”

Mama Nkosi calls the threechildren Sipho, Thembi andThemba. “Can you go to thesupermarket and buy the missingingredients please?”
