Set against the backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountain Range, you will find the old farm village
called Kleinvlei. The farm Kleinvlei was purchased in 2016 to form part of the 4200 ha
Botlierskop Reserve and got his name as a result of all the swamps. It is located on the
northern side of the Reserve very close to the historical Friemersheim that was originally a
mission station and the site of the slave quarters for Great Brak River.
