Tagline: Ideas are suppressed when they are not free 

Synopsis: Realtime News was part of the HoloNet News Agency and produced hard to obtain

interviews by various people, such as Bo-Katan, Satine Kryze and Padme Amidala. The Republic 

started to change when the Supreme Chancellor Palpatine’s office investigated Realtime News 

and discovered it would become a threat to the “survival” of the Republic. He sent Admiral

Wilhuff Tarkin to clean up the corruption in the news source agency.

1.  Coruscant Guard march into the Realtime News Coruscant headquarters heavily

armed causing all the flimsies fall to the floor.

2. 

Wilhuff Tarkin follows behind them protected with his hands behind back andlooks around seeing the fearful workers announcing, “Excuse me... Everyone. You may

leave now. We, of the Republic Military are shutting this place down, immediately for

producing smut! Who is in charge here? Your editor?”

3.  Commander Fox lines up his men to keep citizens distant from Admiral Wilhuff 

Tarkin remarking, “Official Republic business here...move along...move along.”

4.  Realtime News Editor opens his office door squeamishly and walks down the

hallway near Wilhuff Tarkin, “Yes... I am the editor.... Are you here for an interview?”

Sees Coruscant Guard nervously asks, “What are you here for?”

5.  Wilhuff Tarkin awaits the leader of  Realtime News then orders at Commander

Fox, “Remove everything and destroy all the source material chips in the holocomms.”

Hears the jabbering of the Editor, “No. We are here to confiscate all your illegal

pornographic material.”

6.  Realtime News Editor confused, “Sir. We don't have anything of that matter... I

am going to have to ask you to leave. We are a professional news business! We don't

deal in that sort of...grotesque matter!” In his first time standing up to himself, he turns

red with anger, “I will not have you destroy our reputation with such false accusations.

That kind of accusation gets a lot of media attention! I will not have Realtime News becaught in a storm of negative media attention. Now please leave!”

7.  Commander Fox places hands on pistols, “You might want to listen to what the

Admiral has to say.”

8.  Wilhuff Tarkin calmly, “My jurisdiction mandates that the entire Republic be

protected to have information freely. A grand jury investigation has implicated your

news media for publishing smut from criminal organizations! And selling Republic trade

secrets...” Orders Commander Fox and Coruscant Guard, “Take all of it and incinerate it.

Immediately!”

9.  Realtime News Editor squeals, “NO! Please.... Please.... Rethink this. If the

people of  Republic see what you are doing, it will make Chancellor Palpatine look bad.

You wouldn't want to do that right? This kind of thing will make the Republic look bad.”

10.  Commander Fox replies, “Yes sir! Well, c’mon! You heard him men!”

11.  Coruscant Guard salutes, “Sir, Yes. Sir!” The take crates of flimsies and sprays

them with flammable chemicals and ignites flames in various spots.

12.  Wilhuff Tarkin shows him hologram from Chancellor Palpatine’s crest signatory

snidely, “He has indicted the entire leadership of  Realtime News for traitorous and

seditious! If you restrain me further, I will place you under arrest...”

13.  Commander Fox thinks to self while looking at Editor, “Go ahead buddy...do

something stupid.”

14.  Realtime News Editor trembling with anger and confusion, “Okay. I'm sorry. I

had nothing to do with this. NOTHING! What will you burn?” Then he mentally breaks

down, “Don't shut us down! I have a family! They need food. I had nothing to do with

this. Please... Please! I will comply for immunity. Deal?”

15.  Coruscant Guard Finds top secret military flimsies reporting to Commander Fox,

“Sir!”

16.  Commander Fox surprised at all the corruption as of late, “What's this?” Shows

Wilhuff Tarkin, “Sir, you might want to take a look at these.”

17.  Wilhuff Tarkin looks down the groveling idiot from Realtime News, and then

sees the top secret flimsies found by Commander Fox and the Coruscant Guard. Without

warning, he removes his sidearm and fires it at the head of the editor, “Can anyone else

show me more of these flimsies on our military weapons designs here at Realtime

News? Your compliance will promote you...”

18.  Coruscant Guard unmoved by shot and keeps rifling through flimsies and

spraying flammable chemicals from one desk to another. Grabs woman who is hiding

growls at her at gun point, “GET OUTTA HERE!”

19.  Realtime News women close to tears raises her hand and ambles to Admiral

Wilhuff Tarkin, “There is a pile of numerous flimsies in the vault. They are top secret

flimsies... The editor...” She pauses seeing the dead body of the Editor and chokes, “He

didn't know. They put him in place as editor because he was naive. But I know wherethe vault is. I... I am an assistant to one of the leaders of  Realtime News.... He is

probably far of  Coruscant by now... But I will show the vault.”

She steps over body very carefully and starts to choke up again, “Follow me.” She leads

them to a smaller room and inside the room is the vault. But the door is locked. She

pleads, “You need the key.... And the vault has a code.... I don't know it though... But

before you go in can you promise me that you won't punish the editors’ family? He was

innocent. He didn't a thing. I swear!”

20.  Commander Fox looks to Wilhuff Tarkin, “Something's not right here sir.” He

pulls pistol from holster and points to the head of the woman, “Why don't you go in

first.”

21.  Wilhuff Tarkin not making any promises of the woman’s groveling, “Very well

then... Commander Fox place all the essential material we were looking for into the

transport and immediately take them to Director Armand Isard's office at Ministry of 

Intelligence... I will make my report to the Supreme Chancellor Palpatine’s office...”

Then he summons Coruscant Guard to get into the vault, “Thank you madame for your

compliance and you are?”

22.  Realtime News woman shakes, “My name is Palla...”

23.  Wilhuff Tarkin looks at Commander Fox with a smirk, “After you Madame

Palla...”

24.  Commander Fox watches the Realtime News woman enter and remembers the

order to the Ministry of Intelligence replying to Wilhuff Tarkin, “Yes sir!” The he

commands a couple of  Coruscant Guard, “You two...with me.”

25.  Two of the Coruscant Guard follows Commander Fox, and the remaining squad

opens vault and waits for the officers to evaluate.

26.  Wilhuff Tarkin hands of hips and looks around, “We will need trained specialists

to decrypt those files...” He places his hand on chin thinking aloud, “What was your last

assignment Madame Palla?”

27.  Realtime News woman Palla still in shock, “My last assignment was to deliver

some files. Wait! He took those files from this vault! He had me give the file to a woman

who took it to another facility. That was it. Then after that I helped Juloff powder up for

an interview. But that was my last REAL assignment.”

28.  Wilhuff Tarkin blinks a moment, “Do you recall the woman who took these

files? And Juloff ?” Nods ordering the Coruscant Guard to start the holorecording.

29.  Realtime News woman Palla recalls, “She was a human. With blonde hair and

bright blue eyes. But she had a massive cut on her hand if that helps. She was very

pretty but was very rude. Wait! Check the security holos. She was by a small speeder.

You won't miss her on the holo.”

30.  Wilhuff Tarkin orders the Coruscant Guard, “Get me the security holos at

once!”

31.  Coruscant Guard salute, “Sir!” Then they go to each console and extract the

information for further review.

32.  Realtime News woman Palla hugs Tarkin and whisper in his ear, “I lied. The

entire facility is bugged. The woman who took the package is in the building. She has red

hair. She is dangerous she will kill me if she finds out. The lady came into Realtime News 

recently but she was never interested in news. She collected numerous classified files. I

confronted her but she threatened to kill me and my family if I told anyone. I think she is

a spy. She is using Realtime News as a cover. Her office is down the hall to the left. Be

careful she is dangerous. There may be explosives!

33.  Wilhuff Tarkin smirks laughing at himself for slipping up and quickly grabs Pallas

chin and quietly, “What makes you think we trusted you in the first place?” Secretly

interested in the red head, “If she was going to kill you, why should I stop her?” Then

presses his comm Coruscant Guard and his men, “Survey the building, we leave now!”

He nods to the Coruscant Guard with him getting ready to leave.

34.  Realtime News woman named Palla covers her mouth from screaming,

“Please… Please… Make sure she doesn't kill me! Escort me out or something! She is a

trained assassin! She will kill my fiancé and my baby if you don't stop her. Please sir I

beg you!”

35.  Coruscant Guard approach the Admiral and nods grabbing the woman and puts

in her handcuffs and throws her around to leave the build by the repulsorlift, “C'mon

lady! Any funny business…” The shove blaster up hers and whisper in her ear, “BANG!”

36.  Wilhuff Tarkin puts his hands behind back unconcerned what the Coruscant

Guard said, and then comms to LAAT/i ships, “You may fire when ready...” He coldly

remarks to the woman, “Palla, your family are under arrest for espionage...”
