A Ballad

I ran home one day to tell my mom something about me

To tell her that I once hugged a tree

I told her I really wanted a dog

But she said I get scared when there is fog

I asked if I could have some Food to eat

She said no unless I want to get beat

In this ballad I pretty much lied

But it doesn’t matter because I died
