For the enjoyment and safety of others Bayside Council and NSW Police advise:
No Alcohol Permitted.
No Glass Permitted. Bring your food and drinks in recyclable plastic containers.
Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
BBQs can cause fires and burns. We ask that you do not bring personal BBQs to Cook Park on New Year’s Eve.
You are only permitted to trade goods if you have been approved by Council and only within the trading zone allocated. Fines apply.
Help keep our City beautiful and leave only your footprints. Place all rubbish in the bins provided.
Please be courteous to others; if you are driving, riding or cycling, don’t drink.
Due to large crowds we appreciate your patience at all times.
You should designate a meeting point in case your group is separated. Lost children and property can be taken/claimed at one of Council’s information tents nearest you (see map on reverse). Give children a contact mobile number in case they become lost.
Please vacate in a safe and orderly manner after the fireworks display.
When leaving, be aware roads reopen from 10:30pm. Please check for vehicles when crossing the road.

GETTING THERE
PUBLIC TRANSPORT Public transport is recommended as parking is limited and traffic will be congested due to road closures. Sydney Bus services are available to and from Rockdale Train Station.

PARkING OPTIONS (SEE MAP)Parking is very limited. Vehicle access in and out of the area will be restricted. Illegal parking includes parking on/or across nature strips, ‘No Stopping’ zones, footpaths and driveways. For safety and to minimise congestion, park in designated spaces. Illegal parking will be subject to fines and towing.
DROP OFF ZONES (SEE MAP)For persons wishing to bring picnics there are two 2 minute drop off zones from 10am onwards: Northern car park at Kyeemagh; and Bay Street near Moate Avenue.
MOBILITY ACCESS (SEE MAP)Limited mobility parking is available in the northern car park at Kyeemagh and part of Bestic Street.
Must display both the Australian Disability Parking Permit & the NSW Mobility Parking Scheme Permit.
Accessible viewing area is located on The Grand Parade at Brighton Le Sands opposite Bay Street. Please call 1300 581 299 and state your permit number to prearrange this service.
FACILITIES (SEE MAP)Public Toilets: along the foreshore.First Aid: Kyeemagh, Brighton Le Sands & Ramsgate.
Courts can impose a penalty of up to $27,500 and a 12-month jail term for the sale and
purchase of fireworks without a valid licence.
Sydney Airport and surrounding areas are a No Fly Zone. Heavy fines apply.
