• Get help in classes, advice about the DAT, and most importantly, a handful of friends.

• Sign up online to be placed in your family unit and be prepared to have lots of fun.

Mentorship ProgamJust watch and learn.

• We have roughly 40 spots open with more being added every day

• Sign up online to be considered for placement with a dentist. Members are assigned dentists based on payment of dues, seniority, semesters in TPS, and response time.

• You must be able to commit at least two hours straight each week

• No, you don’t need a car. But you will probably need to take the bus, though it won’t be very far.

get Upcoming One-Time Events

Donate your time to help someone else.

• Help at the Central Texas Dental Symposium and hang out with some of the most important folks in Texas Dentistry!• Saturday 9/17 from 8am-5pm (2 shifts)• Sign up online with your desired shift• We can only take five volunteers at the request of

the event organizer. Volunteers will be chosen based on previous TPS experience.• You must dress in all black. And you get lunch.

get Ongoing Commitments

Donate your time to help someone else.

• Act as a mentor/tutor at Webb Middle School various times throughout the day, all week long

• Teach science experiments to elementary school kids at Young Scientists on Fridays (starting 9/9) from 1:30-3:30pm at Walnut Creek Elementary School

• You must be able to commit to these EVERY WEEK! Sign up online.

TPS NewsletterKeep dental schools up-to-date with what we’re doing.

• New this semester: a newsletter designed for dental schools and UT administrators to keep them informed about what’s happening in TPS

• Submit an article idea to Sierra for approval. If you get the green light, write a short article for a PR point!

• We hope to release Sept/Oct and Nov/Dec newsletters
