DISCIPLES IN MISSIONDISCIPLES IN MISSIONDISCIPLES IN MISSIONDISCIPLES IN MISSION

Last week was all about joy, and joy is still with us—always will be because He lives—but this week the message is loud and clear. The letter of John is short-and very sweet-123 words and just six verses. In this brief passage the word LOVE is repeated eight times! Do you think hat the sacred author, is trying to tell us something? Love, as is the case with joy, is a powerful means of evangelization. Next Saturday, five men will be ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Boston. Pray in a special way this week for these men, that their love for the Lord and the joy of serving Him and God’s people will only grow stronger each day.

The mission of the hospitality ministry is welcoming new people into the parish while cultivating a warm, friendly community for all parishioners. We do this by pre-Mass greeting and regularly scheduled hospitality events. Serve as much, or as little, as you wish while having a positive impact on the parish and on yourself! Rachel mourns her children; She refuses to be consoled, because her children are no more. Thus says the Lord: “Cease from your cries of mourning. Wipe the tears from your eyes…There is hope for your future.”

Jeremiah 31:15-17

Archdiocese of Boston

Project Rachel is a confidential Catholic outreach ministry offering hope and healing to women and men hurting from past abortions. Trust in the tender embrace of God’s merciful love.
