• The future perfect is used to express what will have happened at a certain point. The phrase para + [time expression] is often used with the future perfect.

Para el mes que viene, ya se habrá estrenado la película. By next month, the movie will have already been released.

El partido de fútbol habrá terminado para las diez de la noche.The soccer game will be over by ten p.m.

• Antes de (que), cuando, dentro de, and hasta (que) are also used with time expressions or other verb forms to indicate when the action in the future perfect will have happened.

Cuando lleguemos al estadio, ya habrá empezado el partido. When we get to the stadium, the game will have already started.

Lo habré terminado dentro de dos horas. I will have finished it within two hours.

• The future perfect may also express supposition or probability regarding a past action.

¿Habrá jugado “El Tacho” Taboada en el partido de México contra Brasil?

¿Habrán ganado el partido? I wonder if they’ve won the game.

Carlos habrá marcado dos goles, por lo menos. I’m sure Carlos will have scored at least two goals.
