    Swim The Canal at the Maplewood YMCA Meet & Greet

    Walking Tour -- "African American Life and the Abolitionist Movement in

    Canajoharie"

The tour will highlight various sitesassociated with the African Americans who lived in Canajoharie during the 19th centuryas well as potential abolitionist activity. Brochures will identify the sites on a map of theVillage of Canajoharie and the walking tour will include a portion of the sites, not all, butthe brochures/maps will be available long after the walking tour.
