How I Beat The Lottery

Winning the lottery is easy.

I know you have your doubts, but I guarantee after you read this book, yourview on playing the lottery will change considerably.

The aim of this book is to increase your chances of winning the lottery everytime you play - with a twist. (More on that later.)

I know this because I've been studying how lotteries work for several years. From a young age I was always fascinated with the lottery since, to me, itjust seemed like the greatest thing ever invented.

Pick 6 numbers and win millions of dollars. How hard could that be?

Well obviously as I got older I realized it wasn't that simple, but that didn'tdeter me one bit.

When I was in school, I discovered that I had a love for numbers. I'm notsure why, but everywhere I went, I was always counting things.

The windows in my school classroom (6), the pillars in the shopping mallgarage (84), and even the number of stairs in my Grandmother's oldapartment building (182).

Why I kept counting things, I'll never know. But as I would soon discover, itwas preparing me for the greatest number game of all time - the lottery.

In essence, the lottery is nothing more than just that - a simple numbersgame. Pick 6 numbers out of 49, get them all right and you win millions ofdollars.

(I grew up in Canada and our National lotto was the 6/49. Your lottery gamemay have more or fewer numbers, but the principles in this book will stillapply.)

In was my Dad who first introduced me to the 6/49 lottery as I would watchhim play a few tickets every week.

He won the smaller prizes here and there, but it was never the big one. Icouldn't understand why it was so hard. He had been playing for years andnever won the jackpot. Surely he would have gotten the 6 numbers out of 49by now?

Ah the joys of being young. :-)

When I got older, it was my turn to tackle this number game behemoth.

Right off the bat, I calculated the odds of winning the 6/49 lottery were 1 in13,983,816. Not a very attractive number, but I was certain there had to be away to reduce the odds considerably.

I knew math had patterns and formulas for making complex equationssimple, so surely the same thing could be applied to the lottery. It was just anumbers game after all.

So I started by analyzing all the past winning numbers that were drawn forthe Canadian 6/49 since 1982 when it was first launched.

I looked at the numbers and tried to find patterns between them anywhere Icould. It was incredibly tedious work, but I did manage to find a few thingsthat were consistent in the winning numbers that were chosen each time.

I wrote down my findings and tried to devise a formula that could be used toselect the next 6 numbers for the upcoming week's draw.

Overall, it was a good strategy, but it had one major problem: I had toomany number combinations. I could never narrow it down to just 6. I wouldhave had to buy hundreds, if not thousands of tickets each week to satisfythe results of the formula I came up with.

Obviously this wasn't a practical solution. I tried to refine my formula asbest I could, to reduce the number combinations any way possible, but Ididn't have much luck.

Page 7: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

By then I was starting to get really frustrated. I had worked so hard onanalyzing the previous winning numbers that I felt I deserved a better shot atwinning the lottery than anybody else.Ah the arrogance of youth. :-)

Though my frustrations were high, I decided that I was going to keep going.I was not going to give up.

However, I did have to swallow my pride and admit that I needed help. (Notan easy thing for a young man to admit.)

I figured that if I really wanted to beat the lottery, I would have to use everypossible resource available to me.

Luckily, this was right around the time the Internet started becoming moremainstream. (I didn't know it at the time, but this was the critical momentthat would set me on my path to beating the lottery.)

The Internet proved to be a great resource for people who wanted to increasetheir chances of winning the lottery. I found there were other people like mewho just as obsessed as I was.

I bought books, tapes, DVDs, software, you name it. I studied their strategiesin great detail. I used them, modified them, combined them, but no matterwhat I tried, I was only winning a little bit here and there. It was neverconsistent and I still hadn't won a major prize.

I started thinking the lottery really was unbeatable. I didn't want to give upbut I didn't know what else to do as it seemed I had tried everythingimaginable.

Was this it? Had I reached the end of my journey? Was all my hard workand determination for nothing? Did I just waste years of time and thousandsof dollars?

It sure seemed that way.

My frustration was at an all time high and I realized that I needed somethingnew. I needed something that would make me look at the lottery from adifferent angle.

Then, like all success stories, I had a turning point. You know how like inthe movies the main character goes through a struggle and then has a"turning point" where things start to go his way? I.e., when Peter Parker getsbitten by the radioactive spider and becomes Spider-Man! (Yes, I know I'ma geek, ahem, moving on..)

Well, my turning point happened not long ago.

It was in January of 2008 (my birthday month), when my buddy Will sentme an email. He knew I was a lottery buff and he thought I was crazy withall the work I had be doing to try and "beat it" - but regardless, he was stillmy friend and he wanted to help me out.

He sent me a link to a website that featured a book that told you how to winthe lottery roughly 80% of the time. It was by a guy named Larry Blair and Ihad never heard of him before.

Now normally, I wouldn't have given this book a second glance as I hadread so many other books on winning the lottery, but this one was different.

This guy was doing the exact OPPOSITE of what everyone else was doing.

You see, in the lottery world, you pick winning numbers based on severalthings. Things like:

• Hot and Cold numbers• Predictors• Wheeling Systems• Cross comparing predictors with historical statistics• Ball frequency of hits• Patterns of hits• Groupings of numbers

All calculated and monitored over time to achieve the probability thatnumber "x" will be chosen this week. (I.e., complicated and not fun.)

Page 9: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

But this guy wasn't doing any of those things. I couldn't believe it. This guywas claiming that you could win 8 out of 10 games using his lotto system -WITHOUT using any of the methods above.

Honestly, I thought this guy was nothing but a scam.

For years I had been using the methods mentioned above, thinking that sincethey were complex and difficult that only the mathematically gifted couldunderstand them and put them to use. Plus I thought that if they werecomplicated, they had a higher chance of succeeding since it would beaccessible to fewer people.

But no?

This guy comes out of nowhere and boldly claims you don't need any ofthat.

To say I was curious was an understatement. I was certain his book was ascam, but I just had to find out what his lotto system was like.

I decided to take the plunge and buy his book. The second I got it, I read itfrom cover to cover in one sitting.

Once finished, I was stunned. Never before had I seen such an easy systemfor picking winning lottery numbers.

There were no complex formulas to understand or mountains of historicaldata to go through to compare and predict.

It was just picking numbers. That's it.

It felt wrong in so many ways. All the other systems I had used were basedon methods that I had learned over the years. But this system didn't use anyof them.

I had come this far so I decided I might as well try it.

Want something better than the lotterywhere you win 97% of the time?

Visit: www.LottoBlackBookSystem.com 10

Page 10: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

His system was easy to use, but it wasn't working as well as I thought itwould.

Again I was winning here and there, but still nothing substantial. Somethingwas missing. As Morpheus said in the "The Matrix", it was like a "splinterin my mind."

There was definitely something missing.

And then it happened.(Que dramatic music?)

I had a breakthrough! I had found the missing link! Can you guess what itwas?

It was all the work I had previously done!

I was picking numbers based solely from Larry's system without combiningany of the strategies that I learned from years past!

DOH!I was such an idiot!

Why didn't I think of that before!

So I started using Larry's method for picking numbers, and then appliedmyown strategies to those numbers to modify them a bit.

And that's when it all changed.

That's when I started winning the lottery A LOT.

I haven't won the main prize (yet), but I win almost every game and I makemore money out of the lottery than I put in.

I had turned the lottery into a secondary income stream for myself! I hadreached my goal! Success!

And that's what this book is all about.

I'm going to show you the exact number strategies I learned over the years, which when combined with The Lotto Black Book System , yields extraordinaryresults.

Obviously I can't reveal how Larry Blair picks his numbers as that would beillegal, but I firmly believe that once you read my strategies and then combinethem with Larry's number system, you will finally "crack the code" and startwinning the lottery a lot more often.

Are you ready?

Winning The Lottery - 3 Golden Rules

1. Take Action.

By far the most important thing about the lottery is to actually play it. Iknow that sounds obvious, but it needs to be said. Many people read bookson topics they'd like to learn more about, but then never take action. Withthe lottery, you have to be in it to win it.

2. Persistence.

I can bet you that over 80% of the people that read this book will try playingthe lottery once or twice using these strategies and then give up. Don't beone of these people.

Winning the lottery is purely a game of numbers. The more you play, themore you win. You can't expect to win a big prize the first or second timeyou play it. Give yourself a good smack and be ready to play each week.Remember that persistence pays well. Giving up pays nothing.

3. These are the basics.

These strategies serve only as the basics to improving your chances atwinning the lottery. The real advantage is when you combine the methodsyou learn here with Lotto Black Book System .

That was the turning point that allowed me to turn the lottery into asecondary income stream for myself.

Since I can't reveal Larry's system myself (as it would be illegal), I wouldstrongly recommend you invest in his book. It's cheap and well worth it.

5 Reasons Why PeopleLose At Playing The Lottery

1. They only focus on the main prize

Most people play the lottery hoping to win the big jackpot. They see thelottery as a way to become a millionaire overnight and nothing else.

This is the wrong mentality. The odds of winning the grand prize areextremely remote. If you only focus on the main jackpot, you're likely to getdiscouraged and be more tempted to stop playing altogether. (Hence, losingyour money and not turning a profit.)

Instead, look at the lottery as a secondary income stream for yourself. Solong as you get more money OUT of the lottery than you put IN, you arebeating it. Focus on winning the smaller prizes and that will put more moneyinto your pocket over time.

2. They don't reinvest their profits

When you win the smaller lottery prizes, what do you do with that extracash? I'd wager that most people don't give it a second thought and spend italmost immediately, most probably right at the convenience store where theyfirst bought their ticket.

A better strategy would be to reinvest your lotto profits so that you ensureyou can play a good number of tickets every draw.

While the main prize is elusive, you still have a chance to win it every timeyou play. The more you play, the more likely you are to win.

Just think how upset you'd be if your lotto numbers came up but you didn'tplay because you spent last week's winnings on something else instead of aticket? Doh!

Page 14: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

3. They don't allocate a lottery allowance

Having a separate pool of money that is strictly used for the lottery canbenefit you in many ways.

First it ensures you don't spend more than you can afford. If you put somecash aside solely for playing the lottery, you know its money you can affordto lose.

Second, it's easier to refill your "lottery allowance" with your winnings andweekly contributions than it is to try and find cash somewhere at the lastminute.

Set aside a jar, box, or container and put all your lotto cash inside it. Thenwhenever a lotto draw is near, use only the money from that allowance andnothing else.

4. They spend more than they can afford

Building upon reason #3, spending more money on the lottery than you canafford is a big reason why people lose more often than they win.

From a purely mathematical point of view, you are guaranteed to win moremoney by playing fewer tickets frequently as oppose to buying a bunch oftickets in one shot.

Always buy the maximum number of tickets you can afford each week sothat even if you lose, you can still afford to play the same amount when thenext draw comes up.

This will vastly increase your chances of winning since you're playing moreoften and not blowing a big chunk of your dough all in one sitting.

5. They pick numbers without astrategyFinally, people lose at playing the lottery simply because they pick thewrong numbers. They pick numbers completely at random without any kindof strategy because they think its all luck.

Yes, winning the lottery jackpot does have a lot to do with luck, but winningthe smaller prizes more often netting you a profit can be greatly increasedwith the correct number strategy.

Again, it's all probability. You can reduce the odds considerably if youknow the DO's and DO NOT's when picking your numbers.

Together, the four points mentioned above combined with the numberpicking strategies I'm about to reveal in the next section will ensure you winmore often than you lose.

Now that we got that covered, let's pick some winning numbers!

How To Pick Numbers That Win

Odd and Even numbers:

Always have a good balance of odd and even numbers. This means one of 3combinations:

2 odd / 4 even4 odd / 2 even3 odd / 3 even

Never play 6 odd numbers or 6 even numbers as they occur less than 3% ofthe time.

High and Low numbers:

Always have a good balance of high and low numbers. In a 49 number lottogame, the low numbers would be represented from 1 to 25 and the highnumbers would be represented from 26 to 49. Winning numbers are usuallyspread out across the entire number field, again with 3 combinations:

2 low / 4 high4 low / 2 high3 low / 3 high

Winning numbers fall into these patterns about 75% of the time.

Ensure your numbers add up to the right sum

When you pick your 6 numbers, add them up and make sure the total isbetween 115 and 185 as winning numbers that fall into this range occurroughly 70% of the time.

Page 17: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

Play all the numbers

If your lottery allowance can handle it, try playing as many tickets necessaryto play all the numbers. For example, in a 49 number lottery game, thatwould require 9 tickets. This way at least one of your numbers is guaranteedto be picked.

Always include hot numbers

A hot number is a number that hasn't shown up in the winning results for atleast 5 games. For example, a number that hasn't appeared in 5 games orless will account for 55% of the winning numbers. Ten games or less, accounts for 75% and 17 games or less, accounts for 90%.

Based on these factors, a number that hasn't come up in awhile is "due" tocome up soon. The longer it hasn't come up the more likely it is to beincluded in the winning numbers for the next draw.

Always include cold numbers

Never make your number selection basely solely on hot numbers as youneed to include 1 or 2 cold numbers as well (i.e., numbers that have been inthe results more than once in the last 5 games.) Always make sure you havea balance between hot and cold numbers, with slightly more focus on the hotnumbers.

Never pick 1,2,3,4,5,6

Believe it or not this combination is one of the most played, yet in roughly50+ years of lotteries from around the world, this combination has NEVERcome up once. It is too far off balance from being spread out across thenumber field.

Want something better than the lotterywhere you win 97% of the time?

Visit: www.LottoBlackBookSystem.com 18

Page 18: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

It is very safe to assume that since this combination is picked the most often(according to statistics), it will never be a winning combination. Even if itdid come up you would have to split the grand prize with so many otherpeople, it wouldn't be worth it.

Never play the same numbers

Many people do this and is a really hard habit to break. People play the samenumbers because they think their numbers are "due" to hit.

While at first this may seem like a good strategy, it is a very bad one.

The reason is because each 6 number combination has a chance of hittingonce every 134,459 years!

I know you probably have your own set of "lucky numbers" but if you'vealready played them once, it's time to move on to new ones as it isEXTREMELY unlikely that they will drawn.

Never pick numbers based on birthdays

This is a very common tactic and is quite possibly one of the worst thingsyou can do.

First, birthday numbers will always be in the range of 1 to 31 (days of themonth) which means your picks will only be contained in the lower numberrange. We know this is very unlikely to happen as I mentioned above thatwinning numbers are usually spread across the entire number field - fromlow to high.

Second, suppose your birthday numbers do win, you are more likely to sharethe grand prize with many other people as they picked their numbers frombirthdays as well.

Lottery companies know that people play their birthdays and thus ensure thattheir winning numbers fall across the entire number range, preventingmultiple grand prize winners each draw.

Use Wheeling Systems

Say you're going over your numbers and you want to play 7 numbers insteadof 6. You can do this by wheeling those numbers in that you would playevery possible combination that they can be arranged in.

For example, let's say you wanted to play the numbers 6, 12, 18, 23, 27, 35,49

You could play them all by purchasing 7 tickets with the followingcombinations:

06-12-18-23-27-3506-12-18-23-27-4906-12-18-23-35-4906-12-18-27-35-4906-12-23-27-35-4906-18-23-27-35-4912-18-23-27-35-49

This would ensure that if any of your 7 numbers were to hit, you would winno matter what combination they were drawn in.

You can do this for more numbers but keep in mind the maximum amount ofcombinations you can chose goes up exponentially.

For example to wheel 8 numbers would take 28 tickets. To wheel 9 numberswould take 84 tickets and so on.

Play a balanced game

Always make sure you pick numbers that balance out. For example, considerthe odds of rolling a 2 or a 12 on a pair dice. There is only one way toachieve these results. To roll a 2, each die must show a 1 and to roll a 12,each die must show a 6.

Now think about the odds of rolling a 7 on a pair of dice. You can achievethis 6 different ways: 6 and 1, 1 and 6, 5 and 2, 2 and 5, 4 and 3, 3 and 4.

Want something better than the lotterywhere you win 97% of the time?

Page 20: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

Which would you rather prefer? One result with only 1 way of reaching it, orone result with 6 different ways of reaching it?

Obviously when it comes to the lottery you want the latter. You want asmany ways of reaching the same result as possible to increase your odds.

This is why you want your numbers to be spread out across the entirenumber field.

Never pick 6 consecutive numbers

We already mentioned that selecting 1,2,3,4,5,6 is a very bad choice, but thatgoes for any combination of 6 consecutive numbers. For example you wouldnever want to pick something like: 10,11,12,13,14,15 or 44,45,46,47,48,49etc

Number combinations such as these are surely never to become winners.

Play in groups

Obviously the more tickets you purchase the greater your odds of winning.Unfortunately the number of tickets you purchase will be limited by howmuch money you have in your lottery allowance.

A great way to get around this is to play in groups. Usually you want to saveopportunities like this when the jackpot gets really big as the dividedwinnings will be more per person. Not to mention it will be a lot easier toconvince someone to "chip in" if the jackpot is a really big one.

Avoid playing in 1 number group

Again, coming back to our balanced game strategy, never pick numbers thatbelong to one group. For example picking the numbers: 20, 22, 24, 25, 26,27 will almost certainly result in a loss.

Want something better than the lotterywhere you win 97% of the time?

Visit: www.LottoBlackBookSystem.com 21

Page 21: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

Avoid picking numbers that form a pattern

This is a method people use to pick their numbers because they think it'scompletely random, but again it is highly inadvisable.

Pattern picking simply means that someone picks their numbers so that theyform some sort of "pattern" on the ticket.

For example they will colour in numbers so that they form a circle, square, diamond, happy face or even spell out a word.

This may seem fun or humorous, but rest assured that this is not the way toplay the lottery to win.

Avoid picking numbers with the same last digit

While this strategy does include numbers spread out across the entirenumber field, it is rarely a tactic that wins.

For example, you should never pick numbers like: 1, 7, 17, 27, 37, 47 as allbut one number ends with a 7.

Ensure your numbers are spread out, but be certain they don't all end withthe same last digit.

Avoid picking number multiples

Again, these are numbers that are spread out, but are too obvious a pattern tobe a winning combination.

For example the numbers: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 are all numbers that aremultiples of 6 and are extremely unlikely to win.

Page 22: 86907711 How to Win the Lottery

Don't play quick picks by the computer

Statistics show that more lottery winners have won the main jackpot bypicking their own numbers, not by relying on the quick pick that thecomputer chose for them.

While it's tempting to do so if you're in a hurry, it's always moreadvantageous to pick your own numbers based on strategy.

Where To Go From Here

Well that wasn't so hard was it?

As you can see, these number strategies are very easy to follow. However,do keep in mind that these techniques are only the basics when it comes topicking better lotto numbers.

I've studied some pretty advanced concepts for number picking, whichunfortunately would take hundreds of pages to explain it to you. Not tomention I'd have to give a refresher course of certain mathematicalprinciples.

Instead, save yourself the pain and trouble I went through and considerinvesting in The Lotto Black Book .

When you combine the strategies I've outlined above with Larry's numberpicking system, you should see a dramatic increase in your winnings fromweek to week.

Remember that in order to make more from the lottery than you put into it,you have to play consistently. Don't give up!
