INSULATED COOL BOX

The Insulated Cool Box aids operator comfort bykeeping food and drinks cool and stored securely. Thebox can be quickly removed for cleaning or movementbetween machines. Includes fastening straps andmounting hardware.

REFRIGERATED COOL BOX

The 12-volt Refrigerated Cool Box will keep food anddrinks chilled through hot working conditions. Thebox is capable of maintaining a 30°C difference toambient temperatures and its 6-litre capacity will takestandard 0.75 l bottles.The kit additionally features a battery security systempreventing accidental discharge while the box is stillconnected to the cabin’s 12-volt cigarette lighter outletwithout the engine running. The box can be easilyremoved for cleaning or for movement betweenmachines.

ANTENNA MOUNT AND WIRING FOR BUSINESS BAND (TWO-WAY) RADIO

The fender-mounted Field Vision Lighting bundleprovides a Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID)light for improved visibility to rear hitched implementswhen working at night or in low light conditions.Xenon HID lights provide extreme brightness and adaylight colour output for excellent field definition.

ROTARY BEACON LIGHT

Rotary beacon lights are available to meetrequirements in commercial or governmentalapplications. The rotating, high-intensity light mountson the front left corner of the cab roof in the upposition when in use and can be lowered when notrequired to prevent damage. On / Off switch for thebeacon light is located within easy reach of theoperator.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

DUAL BEAM RADAR SENSOR KIT

The new dual beam ground speed Radar Sensor activatesfunctions contained within the CommandCenter and corner-post displays by allowing the tractor to reliably calculate theactual ground travel speed independent of wheel speed. Theradar needs to be installed in order to utilise the hitch slipcommand or to calculate actual wheel slip.

Additionally, the radar improves the accuracy of the follow-ing CommandCenter readouts:

PERFORMANCE MONITOR

The Performance Monitor displays information relatedto various speeds, area, distance and alarm data. Aradar sensor is required for a 100% accuratecalculation of wheel slip, distance covered and speed.Attachment kit includes Performance Monitor, wiringharness, mounting bracket and installation hardware &instructions.

IMPLEMENT ELECTRICAL FEEDBACK CONNECTOR

The 9-pin implement feedback connector required forTouchSet depth control of implements is available as afield-installed attachment. The connector and wiringharness enables a position input to be provided to thetractor's Selective Control Valve (SCV) control unit,enabling TouchSet depth control functionality. Thefeature allows the operator to adjust height and depthof remote lift cylinders by using the TouchSet controlsin the cab.

The attachment kit includes a 9-pin connector, wiringharness and installation hardware & instructions.

IMPLEMENT SWITCH

GREENSTAR READYAll GreenStar applications including AutoTrac,Parallel Tracking and Field Doc utilise the threeGreenStar common components consisting of theGreenStar Display, the mobile processor and theStarFire receiver. Additionally, in order to form anyfully-functioning GreenStar system on any of the80x0T Series track tractors, “GreenStar Ready” statusis first required. The innovative GreenStar JDLink system from AMSallows customers to optimise the true performancecapabilities of their 8020T by collecting machine datafor management purposes. Using mobile phonetechnology, JDLink continuously transmits signalsfrom the tractor’s CAN Bus system to a central JohnDeere server where the information can then be madeavailable to users via a JDLink website or throughemail, fax or SMS messaging.

GreenStar Field Doc offers a simple way to recordinformation on operations including tillage, seeding,spraying, fertilising and in applying manual orautomatically variable input rates required for modernfarm documentation practices. In addition, customerscan also draw upon a simple and highly accurateboundary measurement tool incorporated into the FieldDoc system. The introduction of a pilot injection system on the8020T Series tractors reduces the need for use of theether starting aid. FRONT WEIGHT SET - REGULAR

Front weights are used to obtain correct weight split tocounterbalance rear-mounted implements. The frontweight set includes 20 Quick Tatch weights, eachweighing 50 kg. There are 10 left and 10 right frontside weights to total 1000 kg.A further 10 supplemental weights can also beattached to the rear of the front frame at the front of theengine.

FRONT WEIGHT MOUNTING KITS

Attachment hardware for installing front weights canbe ordered as follows. Two retainers, two washers andtwo capscrews (as appropriate) are required.

TRAILER COUPLING FRONT WEIGHT SETThe attachment kit includes 2 special coupling weightsweighing 50 kg each that can be used within a frontweight package to create a trailer coupling. The totalkit weighs 100 kg.

FRONT IDLER WEIGHTS

Stackable front idler weights can be placed on both theinside and outer front idler wheel for additional frontballast. The front idler weights are mounted to the wheel byusing a 45kg starter weight, and then by bolting each45kg idler weight to that starter weight. The uniquedesign prevents the weights from interfering with theoverall width of the tractor.

HYDRAULICS

FOURTH SCV

The attachment kit includes a fourth SCV, SCV controlassembly, potentiometer, electronic controller, wiringharness, couple with release lever, dust cover andinstallation hardware & instructions.

FIFTH SCVThe attachment kit includes a fifth SCV, SCV controlpotentiometer, couple with release lever, dust coverand installation hardware & instructions. The SCVcontrol lever mounts onto the side of theCommandArm, adjacent to the fourth SCV controllever.

POWER BEYOND SYSTEM

Many implements including manure spreaders, foragewagons, seeders and sprayers requiring hydraulicpower are equipped with their own pressure and flowcompensating hydraulic valves to independentlycontrol oil flow. For these applications, the PowerBeyond System can be equipped to provide livehydraulic power independent of the tractor’s own SCVperformance, ensuring adequate, controlled powersupply to the implement and optimising tractorperformance when the supply is no longer needed.The attachment kits include couplers, connectinghoses, dust covers and installation hardware &instructions.

HYDRAULIC MOTOR RETURN

Hydraulic motor return kits allow the return of usedhydraulic oil directly into the tractor’s sump,bypassing the remote coupler and SCV. The kits arethen ideal for use with implements where minimalback pressure is desired, i.e. those equipped withhydraulic motors or where hitch valves with lift assistwheels are installed.

LOW STANDBY PRESSURE CONTROL KIT

Low Standby Pressure Control Kit eases installationand operation of equipment using Power Beyond.Customers will be able to manually adjust the standbypressure of the tractor to the application andelectronically turn the load sense signal on or off fromthe cab. The load sense signal should always be turnedoff when starting the tractor. Turning the load sensesignal off will keep the pump at low standby pressurewhile cranking the tractor.As a further benefit, when the Power Beyondapplication is not needed, the valve could also beturned off, reducing power needed to operate thehydraulic pump and lowering fuel consumption.

WAGON TRAILER TILT KIT

Available Wagon / Trailer Tilt Kit enables adequatehydraulic flow when rapidly filling the large, singleacting hydraulic cylinders required of many tippingtrailers. A higher capacity charge pump maintains oilsupply to the primary pump with oil from thedifferential case, ordinarily unachievable when thetractor is stationary and preferably run at lower enginespeeds.

HITCH EQUIPMENT

REMOTE HITCH RELEASE CABLESRemote Hitch Release Cables for the WalterscheidHook Hitch assist implement hook-up and detachmentfrom within the operator station.

DRAWBAR

HEAVY-DUTY DRAWBAR

The attachment is designed to handle heavy loadsexerted on the drawbar. Operators will benefit whenusing large drawn implements, grain carts, liquidtanks, or similar items that place a large amount ofvertical weight on the drawbar. Installation of the attachment increases the drawbar,clevis and pin rating from Base Category 3 to Cat 4 on8220T, 8320T and 8420T tractors. The drawbar pindiameter also increases to 2 inches. The attachmentincludes an additional support under the drawbarassembly increasing the tongue weight capability to45.3kN vertical load. On the 8520T Tractor, the attachment adds anadditional support under the drawbar to the BaseCategory 4 drawbar and clevis pin. This increases thetongue weight capability to 45.3kN vertical load.

To aid in the hook-up of implements, an easy-to-uselinkage allows the drawbar pin to drop into the fieldposition. The simple-to-use linkage is activated whentapped by the implement drawbar.

TRACK SYSTEM

TRACK TENSIONING SYSTEM

Track tensioning hose kit must be used to relax /tension the track when changing tracks or makingtread adjustments. The attachment kit includescoupling assembly, hydraulic hose and adapter.

TRACK TREAD ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM

Track tread adjusting kit includes brackets, rollers,mounting hardware, and a set of instructions formaking tread adjustments.

CHOCK BLOCKS

VANDALISM PROTECTION

DOOR LOCK KIT

Door lock kit provides individually keyed cabin doorlocks as a deterrent to vandalism and theft. The kit alsoaids in satisfying insurance policies where commonlykeyed vehicles cannot be guaranteed cover againstdamage or theft.Kit contains two handles with lock cylinders, four keysand installation instructions and is retrofittable to8000T and 8010T-series tractors. Further spare keyscan be cut from the blank.

MISCELLANEOUS

OPERATORS VIDEO GUIDESTo assist initial operator training, instructional videotapes are available. The tapes are all in VHS videoformat and are orderable from the Distribution ServiceCenter (DSC).
