BP (Base Band Processing Board)
The BP board processes the physical layer protocol and frame
processing protocol specified by the 3GPP, including:
Downlink service data coding/multiplexing, rate matching, channel
mapping, frequency spread and scrambling, power weighting and
channel synthesis
Uplink signal RAKE receiving and channel decoding
Radio link synchronization and transmission frame processing
Measuring parameters required in power control and handover
Softer handover and transceiving diversity.
Communicating with the CCI via the Ethernet interface

Reading all the hardware management identifiers, including the backplane type
number, slot number, board function type, board version, board function configu

Each ETTB board supports 4 E1/T1. BBUB can support 8 E1 at most while 2 ETTB boards configured
To support 2 E3/T3 interfaces, the ETTB board is replaced by E3/T3 interface board

The RTR has following functions:

Radio signal uplink convert and downlink convert;

ZXWR BBUB+R8840 Indoor Coverage Scene
ZXWR BBUB, together with ZTE series RRU, can satisfy
different coverage requirements:
In scene 1, 3G and 2G outdoor macro base stations are deployed co-siting deployed. 2G macro sites have spare space for 3G devices. Operators would like to utilize these free spaces.
RRU needs for auxiliary power supply, using multifunctional cabinet to provide -48VDC, and storage battery in the cabinet as auxiliary power supply ; Need for auxiliary power supply: through UPS, 220VAC can be provided. Also UPS can provide about 30 min power storage; No need for auxiliary power supply.

In scene 2, operators have sites, but antenna feeder’s lose is over 3dB, using traditional indoor macro base station is not economical. Operators are sensitive to outdoor space and do not want to deploy outdoor macro base stations.

In scene 3, operators have no outdoor site, requiring deploying new
