General Access InformationDue to county policy sub logins are limited to the following DVD login. Unfortunately this login has no internet privileges and many of our drives are not accessible. There is however, access to a Sub folder where teachers can leave their lesson plans for you. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but as I stated above this is the new county policy. You should also see an ActivInspire icon to use during class. There will be several error messages when using this program, but its basic functions will still be enabled.

Viewing the morning news. Be sure the VCR in the corner is on and

set to channel 8 (use VCR remote). Use the Sanyo remote to turn the orange

projector lamp on. (press orange power button once) Status light will turn green but it takes 30 seconds for the lamp to become completely bright.

Press the Video button on the remote. (top, towards the left)

If the screen is blue with an F-1 in the corner or if the news is in progress, you did the right steps.

Use the Volume buttons on the remote to adjust the sound.

At the end of the news, turn the lamp off by pressing the power button twice. If you will be using the board later, dim the light by pressing the No Show button.

VHS Player to view a VHS tape: Use Sanyo remote to turn on the lamp of

the projector and set to Video input. Turn VHS on and insert tape. Sanyo remote adjusts sound. When finished, turn projector off.

Safari Montage video: Use Sanyo remote to turn lamp of

projector on and set to Computer 1 input.

Sanyo remote also adjusts sound (make sure sound is not muted on the computer)

Unplug headphones from the front jack of the computer if plugged in.

Log on to the network on the AV computer.

Launch Safari Montage Log on to Safari Montage. Locate the playlist you wish to play. Play

Viewing a DVD: Log on to the network on the AV

computer. Insert DVD in Tray Click Start > Power DVD Expand window to full size Click the black triangle play button

Displaying from the AV computer. Log on to the network. Use the Sanyo remote to turn the

projector lamp on and set to Computer 1 input.

Open the desired application or file on the computer.

Using ACTIVInspire ~ Please Read ~

Launch from Start Menu or Desktop Might get some error messages, just

click OK.

Promethean Interactive Whiteboard Each of our classrooms is equipped with

an interactive whiteboard. Please observe the following guidelines and policies:

o DO NOT USE MARKERS OF ANY KIND ON THE BOARD

o Keep track of pen and remote for teacher
