8 PHYSICAL Regions of North America
The 8 regions of North America and compass Rose
Appalachian Region Topography: There are mountains of all different sizes, old and the mountains are around 300 000 000 years ago. There also are many rivers, and there is a lot of gases, oils, and they are in Sedimentary layers of rocks. There are a lot of rivers that transport items. Rolling mountains and hills
Climate: There are two streams called Labrador current brings cold water, Gulf streams carries hot water. Fish are able to breed because there microscopic organisms that is food for them in the Labrador Current. It is cold when it is winter in the north parts of the Appalachian region.
Vegetation: There were trees that could be alive by nearby rivers and soil. It had lots trees so people who were poor could live there. People were living where the soil was the best.
Economic Activity: Their jobs were forestry, mining, agriculture, and so many more jobs. There is a big population there it holds over 25, 000, 000 people. There are only 1 in 3 people were poor in this region. http://1.usa.gov/1d9DGMi
